I Had my lurks do this on luna just last month I think. Also in late winter in a Nex D game I saw someones vessel shotting around the map so fast I could barely see it. I stopped everything in awe of the speed I saw from the vessel. I have seen many more units do this bug. I wonder how it is done. The guy with the vessel seemd to know how to do it since he was not shocked and didn't type anythiing. ---I-Emerge | ||

Unfortunately they only seem to do it when they've gotten jammed up and lost ground, then they break even by turbo running. I've never seen a Hydra or Zeal just rocket boost forward for no reason. | ||

They would try getting out of each others way, but couldn't. So, I just stayed watching them, seeing how long they would be stuck like that. Then, they literally sped across the map. I was like O_O! | ||

A couple other related glitches are when this happens on a ramp and the units just get stuck on the ramp in an infinite jumble trying to escape. Another bug I had with lurkers a few times when I burrow them they half burrow or just hold position above ground and fire as if they were fully under ground. The shitty thing though is that you don't need detection to hit them. Is there a list of bugs somewhere that everyone can send to blizzard to fix? Specifically the download ## glitch, and the black game join list hang screen, and the glitch that makes units freeze when you issue to many commands (this glitch happens to me like every game that I use lings and try to surround units). as you can see this bug rarely happens, few in a thousand collisions in the map. So the useabilities of this bug is unlikely. However the cause of this bug is that SC has this acceleration function, either a bug or intended. When units stuck trying to pass each other, they will move faster in order to go to the other side quicker. Sometimes they mirror each other's movements and the result is them not passing each other, but continue to travel at the accelerated speed in the direction that is perpenticular with their intended path. So yaeh... if you want to use this bug in real game... good luck ramming zealots into each other and hope they shoots off in the right direction in about a thousand collisions. | ||

It always happens when I have a big group of zealots bunched together or patrolling a horizontal area. Then, all of a sudden, a couple zealots will run down the map super fast. It's weird. A large group of hydralisks does the same trick. I might have seen it with marines, not sure. | ||
