By tricks i mean all technical tricks and bugs. Like muta micro and invisible zerg for example.

You can however get drones to pop 4 tiles away from the gas (put a pool left/right of gas, thats 3 tiles, it will pop on the 4th (left/right of pool)) | ||

I did test this where 1:20 m:s always gathered 400 gas no matter if trick or not. If gas would be exactly beside hatch you would need 2 drones and it would gather gas at the same rate as 3 drone in normal range. What you do "earn" from this is faster gathering as in terms of drone leaves gas and give it to hatch. I.E if you had gas over whole map (128x128) it would take quite the time until you get the gas, however you would gather gas at the exact same RATE as if gas was just beside hatch. This delivery time reduction does not serve more gas but gives you the gas 1 second faster than regularly. It has no game impact whatsoever. Edit: i watched the clip and he did no testing. For trutaacz id say try it and time it. Say 500 gas and see how long it takes with/without trick. Conclusion will be the same time, as drones arent leaving any faster inside gas. He also added a 4th drone making it even worse than regular 3 drone less drones for minerals.Edit2: if you need empirical evidence ill do it after work (in 4 hours). | ||

If siege animation starts before building lands, it explodes. Position tank so it takes the longest amount of time to start siege animation.. I.E facing top left. Then click very late just before building lands. If you do this in a regular game you better click late than early, as that wont explode it. P.S I havent tested if there is a possibility to make it immune to melee units, say lings by sieging exactly center of a building. ![]() | ||

You can use alt-C to center your screen on your group of units even if one of them is far away (for example if you have mutas + overlord selected). Double tapping hotkey or pressing alt-1 doesn't work unless you have a lot of units, but alt-C does even with just 1 muta and 1 overlord. You select the hotkey (ie 1) and then alt-C. It's possible to micro 2 groups of mutas in different locations more or less easily with this method. | ||
