Like I've mentioned before thumb tends to be better if your keyboard is on a lower level then your mouse. But then ctrling can be a pain as you typically will use thumb knuckle. Leg recommended and I agree with: RR MR IR, then switch over to pinkey index when you want and then thumb index if wanted. Ctrl with palm/pinkey. Why not middle for 1? Well perhaps if you use only indexmiddle for keys then sure. But for people who use 3finers index is over 1 anyway, so shifing hand position for middle over 1 takes time and is uncomfortable. | ||

1a RR 2a MR 3a IR* 4a IR 5a IR 6a-9a^^ IP *You might use MR on this. (The firt letter is for the number, second is for a). PS: I can write more than 500 letters a minute on a keyboard, and this setup is by far the fastest possible way (with normal positions of your hands) to do this. | ||

Anyway, thanks for all the replies! I'll try out the fingerings you suggested and see if I can find one that suits my hands. There are 32767 more important things I should probably focus on instead, that's absolutely right. I don't expect that having the optimal fingering is going to win me any games, I'd just like to get it right from the beginning, because I don't want to be stuck unlearning too many bad habits. Thanks for pointing out though, especially to the guy who mentioned that I should rather focus on timing the attacks so that they arrive to the front simultaneously, that was really helpful to me  | ||
