Minerals are way too far off the edge so I'm thinking maybe a weird simcity could do the trick, but I have no idea what that would be... Hints? I haven't played many Pvz on Gladiator but is it possible to jump a probe behind your natural mineral line? Edit: Can't you trap a probe to the right of the far right mineral patch at the top left base? If that works, same applies to bottom right. Not near a PC to test, sorry. 6:55 jumping confirmed -.- Steal his opening while you're at it!!

I think thats why a good amount of pros still play without it. Maybe the rules changed since its a part of the game now though.

Thats just one example. Further, when should I add zealot legs in PvT? I think I would have won that game if I had it but I had pure dragoon with two shuttles filled with zealots.

Im 1800 P and got fucked yesterday by some guy that sat on 2 base with only 2 factories pumping out siege tanks. I figured he was gonna go macro since, yknow, fuckin 2 factories only but he pushes out with 12 tanks and a handful of vultures and just sieges up my third while I was going for upgrades and arbiter tech. I had 5 gateways making goons. Thats just one example. Further, when should I add zealot legs in PvT? What Intel do you have? Assuming you scout lair + den without any other tech, and they are staying on 2 base, you can assume it's drops and add cannons>robo as necessary.

Scouting for Overlords in proximity to your bases is the straight up counter to getting 2 cm lurker dropped in your mineral lines lmao.

Two base lurker drop is considered cheese, so these are sometimes really tricky to scout if your opponent is doing everything they can to deny scouting. But if they are, why not take the precaution steps and not risk losing straight away? 2. As previously pointed, what intel do you have? Did you scout they did not have a third base really late (CHEESE)? Did you scout fast lair with 2 gas and no spire (CHEESE)? Did you see hydra den + lair with no other tech or evo chambers? If you post the replay where you lost to that it'd be much easier to tell you how you could have spotted it... 3. If you are scared, why do you not just add a cannon at each mineral line? That would be 300 minerals and unless you are 2000+ mmr I do not think that you'll lose because you did that instead of building 3 zeals for example... The approach I took when I did not understand the matches well enough was: try to stay alive a.k.a. make as much defense as it makes you comfortable then try to win. As you progress and you get better at scouting and defending you'll naturally see yourself needing less and less of that so it's fine, just let your style evolve with you. Most obvious answer given the situation you describe would really be "be more active with your sairs" either by killing ovies near your base or just actively scouting. Of course not everyone can do that, so just make those cannons they both detect and shoot at lurkers so you're good. Take this with a grain of salt, I'm no gosu and that is just my take on the situation.
