In low numbers of both Muta and Gol you probably want to target single Goliaths (much like Muta vs MM in low numbers). If you have situations where it's upwards of 8/9 mutas vs 4/5 Gols you can start thinking about hold position so that the glaives spread and you waste less shots on overkilling individual units. It's very situational and you don't actually even want to engage Gols directly unless you are sure you can make a good trade out of it. Once they have range you usually have to wait until +1 carapace to have a chance at making good trades. In battles where you have full control groups or more of mutas and think you have a numbers advantage, you want to be on top of the Gols as much as possible to reduce their range advantage (this involves attack moving/hold position and subsequently moving on top of the Gols between each volley) When you have a vision advantage (mutas on terrain that blocks Terran vision) you should be looking to target single Gol/scv or hold position, then return to the negative space to reduce the number of volleys they can get off for each Muta volley. In all situations, run low HP mutas away as appropriate/practical.

I keep my probe alive long enough to see them throw down a second gateway. However, my question is, when I see a second gateway should I automatically make my own or just delay my nexus and add the gateway after I get my reaver out? I can see myself winning if I sit at the top of my ramp and break out of the contain with my reaver and then go drop him with it. But I basically have no idea how I am supposed to know if they are using that second gate to just expand and go reaver themselves, or if theyre going to throw down more gates after my probe leaves their base. If they go 2gate and I am sitting at my ramp preparing for an all in and he just expands, my nexus will be later since I wont be able to know that until my obs gets to their base. Advice? Basically, what do I do when I scout a second gateway while going 1 gate reaver?

However I lose if they do a heavy goon push before the reaver pops, say 4gate goon or 3gate obs. I keep my probe alive long enough to see them throw down a second gateway. Basically, what do I do when I scout a second gateway while going 1 gate reaver? when you see 2nd gate and range delay ur obs and go reav 1st Even if you trade poorly vs goons (which you shouldnt, just stay on top of ramp until reav is out) you can always get speed shuttle and start reav harassing while taking ur exp. Rushing exp is good with 1g robo reav style but you have other plays too. You can always cancel your exp too if P attacks you with too many goons, just go back up your ramp and get shuttle speed. 1g reav/obs exp is Bisu's go to PvP opener on ladder. I bookmark'd a bunch of his PvP vods from his youtube but i think he deleted his channel, lost them all t.t.

initially, do you recommend I use the reaver to break out of the contain or just go straight to his main? when i break out of the contain, how do I prevent him from just buttfucking me while i am harassing him with the reaver all the way in his main? should probably just wait for the second reaver and then go harass him with the shuttle right?
