Go 3 hatch muta. You won't have enough for 9 because you throw down the second gas later than in ZvT, so you'll have enough for like 7. Use the extra minerals on sunkens. If he attacks you and has no cannons, just ignore zealots and base trade. If he has cannons, do an easy clean-up of zealots with more and more muta.

Transition to hydra if you did well with muta, transition to lurker if you did poorly (lost drones vs. zealots, etc. while not doing damage to him).

Always. It's a soft counter to 9 pool since you just have more gas + better econ. It's even with 12 pool since you have a fast lair, so it forces spores while you take your nat. It's okay against 12 hatch as well for the same reason.

It only does poorly when it gets scouted and your opponent immediately makes infinite drones.

When I'm in a good mood, I even enjoy losing. However, once I feel that I'm starting to get angry and derive no more satisfaction from playing, I stop playing and go do something else.

My table is soaked in a pulpy aftermath. I forgot I had placed a peach on my desk a few games prior to snack on.

I drink, or vent it through angrily rambling about things, or admit I'm just bad and I suck, or just say toss OP, zerg OP while streaming it all. People who watch laugh at it, and it kind of calms me down in a way.

one of the above, I rotate between them to keep things fresh.

On the anger issue:
I find that making sure there is nothing on my mind outside of sc helps me play a lot. Desk untidy? Take the time to clean it up properly, Bed not made? Go and make it properly. Clothes still not folded away neatly? Go and do it! Need to study for school? Get studying THEN play starcraft.

Seriously, it sounds abhorrent to say go and do these things and clear your mind to play a video game, but sc is different. The way I look at it is that when you take the time to do things right you'll apply this to starcraft as well. Starcraft is a game where you have to get into good habits, good mentality and a good mindset to play well and improve on your play. If something subconciously is effecting this, it's going to make you frustrated and will result in poor sloppy play.

Do things right and this will apply in game as well. I find i play so much better and have a better capability of handling my losses when i ensure playing sc is the last thing i have to do on my checklist. It ultimately made me a better player today, because I was having the same issues. So frustrated over crappy losses, units weren't being controlled the way i wanted them too, etc. But I stopped, slowed things down and used a more practical method of strategy and i started getting a deeper appreciation for this game, rather than just raging because i made a mistake. Mistakes happen, the only way to get over them is to practice correctly to ensure there's low probability of it happening again.

TL;DR - Make sure you complete RL tasks first, take the time to do it properly and this will translate to SC.

What to do zvt when tgerran goes one base, but i cant scout what he goes because he has 2 supply depots ans rax on ramp? It was mech and i lost of course

1 sunk at natural against early vulture, delay the lair a bit and go for a quick hydra den and make 3 or 4 hydras against quick wraith, vulture run-by or vulture drop. Then drone up, defend and tech to lair. By now you should already know what his build is. If he's going mass wraith -> more hydra. If it's only 1 wraith, you have to check if he's going mech or back-teching to marines/medic. Very often they will go 1 wraith, then dropship and drop marines+medic in your base, which you cannot defend with hydras. You need speedlings for that. If he's going pure mech -> expand and mass hydra.

note: I'm only c-

1. For observer upgrades, when should I get detection range vs. obs speed? is there a situation for one or the other?

2. Pros always rally to the mineral so that the worker goes straight towards the mineral. but when I do this I lose track of my workers and it becomes a mess. so I rally somewhere easy to see. will this make a difference if I don't do it like the pros? if it does make a difference, i better start changing my bad habits.

3. Do you have idle workers who you do not send back to mining but designate as the supply depot builder or pylon maker? I don't see Bisu doing this but I see some terrans doing this.

rally to your mineral as long as you're able to pay attention. start rallying 2 cm below your cc nexus later on. The difference is miniscule, but at the highest level, you need to optimize everything. But your probes or scvs taking 1 second extra to start mining is very insignificant compared to them being idle for 2 minutes because you failed to notice them. The principle of optimizing everything though, that's important, because starcraft is a game of accumulated advantages. It's not really significant if you make your first gateway when you have 180 rather than 150 minerals, it's not really significant if you have 460 when you start the nexus or 400.. Like none of these matter individually. But if you are consistently 5% later than the other guy with all the actions you do, then after 10 minutes, you'll be at where he was after 9:30. And then when you engage, he has one and a half extra production cycle worth of units, which is enough to decisively win the engagement. So you end up looking like you got crushed, even though it was just a 5% difference. If you look at replays of two different players and you map out how much idle time their probes-drones-scvs have after being constructed, this will correspond really, really well with how good the players are.

as for observers, I get speed first pvt and sight first pvz. Observer speed I get when I can afford it, after +1 and zealot leg speed but before stargate. sight in pvz I only get if I need to bust a fortified base. Prolly only once every 30 pvz games or so, it's not very important, but helpful against spore+lurker combination.

As for your third; protoss obviously doesnt have to do this because their probes don't have to stand next to the warping building. For terrans, they generally want to produce either one or two depots constantly depending on their production ability, and there's no point in sending back the scvs and using new scvs to build new depots. Rather they just start new ones once the previous depots finished. Protoss can just start pylons and go back to mining, if you have the probe just standing there idling, then you fail at the aforementioned 'optimize everything' aspect.

If T walls in and you dont scout expansion (you should have an overlord at his nat or keep poking with lings), it is almost always some form of vulture, wraith or dropship play. You should get one sunken + evo chamber/Hydra den at nat to prevent vulture runby and make 4-5 hydras and spilt them up at your main and nat. Once your defenses are set tech to mutas and you should win pretty easily if you don't take too much damage. Also research ovie speed if T is going for cloaked wraiths.

honestly the answer to 'what to do when t goes 1 base' is really really difficult to give, There are so many different ways he can follow up and they do need different responses. If it's just 1 vulture into cc into valkyrie+mm, then going the muta route can be disastrous. If it's a 2 fac speed vulture runby, you absolutely need to make sure your wallin is tight. If it's a vulture drop, you need to make sure you have hydras in your main (at least unless you 2 hatched, in which case you can hold with muta). vs 2 port wraith you want to have the spores - but not against anything else, and it's a big investment to make if he ended up doing just 2 vultures into expand into m&m.

You basically need to try to scout somehow. Overlord overlooking his natural will see if he's expanding, if he starts the cc shortly after his vulture leaves the base, you can usually rule out 2 port followups. Vulture drop is still an option though. Having some spare lings out on the map is nice, you can use them to try to run into his base for a scout like 5-10 seconds after the vulture leaves.

I usually do some type of hydra lurker build (with ensnare) as a catch-all, but it's far from a won scenario if I just hold the first harassment. Game goes on to be pretty normal and I depend on a good engagement to end up on top.

3 lings = 2 supply or 1 supply?
And if I have 4 lings (from 2 eggs) and in each pair one ling is killed and I'm left with 2 lings from different eggs, is it 1 supply or 2 supply?

3 lings = 2 supply. Does not matter what eggs they hatched from, 2 is always =1.

zerg can do it through cancelling buildings when they are already at 200. Terran, only in team melee.
