Lol didn't we experiment enough?
I doubt there is any such resource. You should just start PvZ vs a Zerg computer, Mind Control a Drone, and check your pathing that way. Just show me the money operation cwal in single player and you'll be set.
I only found one location (top right) where you can throw up two cannons, two pylons and attack the hatchery with both:
Not 100 certain on what "using Stacraft Broodwar" means tbh, it's a bit vague lol.
yes, very vague and nothing more than "using scbw". Like, you are always somewhere: in a game, in some channel... But just "is using starcraft broodwar"? that's curious

That usually means player is connected but is not in any channel or any game, at least that is how it was in Diablo 2.
If you see the "using scbw" message, it means that they have not added you back as a friend, and therefore you are not getting more detailed information about them.

no, this is not so. For example, some people ask for re-game, and if they don't show up nor answer I type "where x", and it says "x is using scbw and is currently in game 2v2 peyhton". But sometimes with the very same persone it says "using scbw". About AT preparation I also thought that it's the post-game score screen.

how can one be in no channel? When you enter iCCup you immediately join some channel. Hey, I just tested it and a thought came to me — can "using scbw" be shown if a persone is choosing what game to join atm? Or is creating a game or a channel. Basically that's just what Jealous suggested. hm
I think you can be in no channel if you join a channel that is meant to be modded but is not, so that you're kicked out. You're moved into a non-channel ("The Void").

(I think, or was that WC3? lol)
The Void definitely exists in BW too, that's probably what it is.
Another thing I remember, if someone was in a game that had Korean characters in the name when you /where'd them you'd just get a blank line.
Actually, after the game ends and pop up the screen with the scores of the match is when I noticed that u recieve this msg. If u type where x and x is in that score screen he is not in any place in iccup

If that is really so, what is the AT preparation? It's getting more and more confusing
My guess is that AT preparation is to when you are looking channels or join games, but I don't know for sure, or is then you stay afk for long in a lobby game, like those ppl that make a lobby game and leave it for hours. But that i don't know for sure, just guessing.

Ok, I just tested, turns out what I thought for years is wrong haha, "X is using starcraft broodwar" is when they're in the post-game score screen.
I don't have time to test it right now but I surmise that AT preparation is when you're in a game that has finished but you press 'continue playing' or something
as far as I can tell Effort pulls his drones after seeing only an SCV and a depot being built. what part of what he saw was enough for him to know that he needed to pull drones?
Normally, Terran doesn't have to wall the natural in TvZ. They build their depots in the main, and defend the ramp if the have to.
The only reason for building that depot there in the natural is: Terran proxied the barracks for a bunker-rush, and prepares a 2-depot-semi-wall in the natural that he can close by floating the proxy-rax there, in case Zerg didn't 12hatch but early-pool or in case the rush fails.
It's a common cheese Terrans do on FS.
Also: If Terran scouts Zerg first (like in this case), and they see a 12 hatch, normally they build their CC before the second depot, cutting marines. So seeing this depot before the CC means Terran is pumping marines even though he saw there is no pool yet.
So, I guess, for Effort two things point towards "time to pull the drones": a) 12hatch, yet 2nd depot before CC, b) depot in this particular spot.
If it's TvP and I'm caught while moving, how do I react? Do I siege and lay mines ASAP, do I fight unsieged, or do I retreat? It seems that siege tanks w/o mines around them kill themselves and die to zealots/dragoons. Unsieged, there is no friendly fire, but the firepower is so much weaker. If I retreat, tanks are so slow and I lose some (not even trade, plain lose). So what do I do?
it's always situational, but in general I would argue that the best course of action is to lay mines and retreat tanks. it depends how 'caught' you are and the sizes of the armies and how long you have to retreat for, but generally, if you start sieging without a protective mine field when zealots and goons are already within like, 10 matrixes of your units, then that's a pretty huge disaster.
losing your tank force often equates to losing the game in tvp. vultures however are highly expendable. being caught while moving means you're never gonna get a favorable engagement, so what you are doing is basically damage control. Using vultures to lay mines while retreating your tank force will usually mean that your vultures mostly die and your tanks mostly live.
alternatively if your army is superior to his, you can siege the back tanks and engage with unsieged units - this can be smart if you for example just killed most of his army and he's trying to buy time while reproducing.
