3 hatch before pool vs 3 hatch before pool, now how often do you see that?

Seriously thiugh if you scout your opponent first in ZvZ and you are both doing 12 hatch, is 3 hatch before pool legit or was that phased out over time because it couldn't transition well?

You can see the drone chicken a lot when playing on Python and you both spawn close by air.

I don't play protoss as much, mostly terran but the control group layout isn't that different:
1- zealots (marines)
2- zealots/dragoons (marines)
3- dragoons/other units (medics)
4- hts (tanks)
5- arbiters (science vessels)
In general, zealots first in control groups then dragoons etc... The bigger the army gets, the more control groups you need and I usually just shift them down.

sorry, haven't played starbow. Only thing I know is that you still have some SCII units in SB but I'm not sure which ones they decided to leave in it.

I think I've played a game on python where we both went 5 hatches before pool then sunken rushed eachother

rofl that's insane. How did you guys manage 5 hatchs before pool? This was on iccup or with friends?

On iccup, we both got close air so we both kept droning while watching eachother until one of us finally put a pool down

What if there is a game where one player expands, so the other player expands as a counter, and the first player expands again, and this just keeps happening until the whole map is taken before units are made?

I've never been lucky enough to play against another zerg that keeps putting down hatches like that. I think I would put my third or fourth hatch in mid or something and then proxy a spawning pool there.

I personally think it's so much better to put things like defilers, vessels, and arbiters on 1 or 2. It's a lot easier to 1 move 2 move 3a4a5a6a then it is to 1a2a3a4a 5 move 6 move.
Why would I play sctoo when I can play BW?

I watched a replay with tsunami when he did something like that. 6 vs 9 on LT. Used to be very standard knowledge in ZvZ that you always wanna build your spawning pool just a little after your opponent. If both players think this it has a predictable result. You've got to have overlords spotting for it though, or to be scouting with a drone or else you can get caught off guard.

There was this game where JD scouted with first ovie and saw 12pool so he went 12hatch gas pool. (Modesty ovie went wrong way.)

Also to thezanursic, another creative way of playing this situation out is to just get an early evo chamber for +1.

Are there any things that you can do to avoid getting the glitch goon bug? I don't see pro's get it as often as I do.
Why would I play sctoo when I can play BW?

Can somebody tell me the story behind Bisu winning IEF literally every year, stork getting second.

Did only SKT, Khan take it seriously? Also why is there so little information on IEF available, did TL just not care about it at the time?

hm, in general you just want to issue minimal commands to your goons. be efficient and don't panic if they do glitch. tap s and continue on
