So here it iserg goes for expand and fairly fast lurker with not so many drones and protoss try either zelot rush or corsair rush with darks and expand and this always ends zerg containing protoss with lurkers in front of his natural:-))so protoss mass and wait for observer/goons and zerg expands,but sometimes zergs are building hatchery and many sunkens slowing his expnads and most of that games zerg always win.Nothing special here u ll say ,but I made some calculations and I understood that zerg can always do this taktic,because hatchery and sunkens always went before mass goons and obs(eventually zergs can kill first 2-3 observers too) and if toss goes for fast observer he must fight the lurkers with zealots which is not very good especially if zerg sacrifeced his economy to make more troops to contain.What I am trying to say is that if zerg users want to do that strat they can do it almost any game and this is most of the time gg for the protoss:-))

no no no its not so hard I tried it of course several times against much better players(protoss) than me and I awlays lose but I also always succed to build the hatchery and several sunkens
And zerg is my worst race and I am an average player with terran(my race) and awful player with zerg and I lost to some gay dark templar and high templar drops and forgetting to make sunkens and he went through my contain and so on,but I always managed to build that hatchery:-))

The point is that protoss can be contained with hatchery+lurkesrs every single game

Every Protoss knows when a lurker contain is coming. Corsairs will spot it. The issue is that you have to go templar anyway or three hatch hydras will kill you, since it's all from the same tech.

Make sure you have your natural before the lurker contain (one geyser isn't going to cut it), and get some cannons against the ledge to protect against drops (stick your corsair up there to spot). Then tech up to observers as quickly as you can. Make a shuttle after the first observer or two, load a couple templar into it, and try to kill some drones while you mass up enough to break out of containment.

Best method I've found, anyway.

Anyone else have some tips?

Why should it? My fav build vs zerg is to exp at like 5~6 zeals (he got sunks vs my rush, so he can't kill me in a counter)

well i know a zerger whos about my level who absolutely LOVES hatch + lurker. in konglish he calls it his flower garden, the only problem is it is beatable. drops work a treat, dt/ht, even if u ferry them outside his contain and return shuttle mass sair then dt ur way out works too, but some zergs will see it coming and put a spore in front in that case its gay. the other thing i luv doin verse him is in LT u cant contain and stop from expanding so i got 2 gas. i get 3-4 sair, dweb and goon my way out, thats so much fun and it gets u out without many casualties. the other thing about sair+dweb is u can use it before u bust out to delay by shooting down lords and webbin anything (eg. spore) i use it cuz i often grab a port or 2 earlish in the game.

I would block choke with 3 zealot, get two goons, tech to robo..get shuttle...cliff goon his exp while teching to reaver..and ob...then drop reaver...kill lurker with reaver -_- exp...tech to temp..while harasshing with reaver+_+;; don't lose reaver...ever+_+;;

Yes, it works against lurkers, but it does nothing to prevent a mutalisk rush, or even see one coming, for that matter. The reaver could *probably* hold the ramp against three hatch hydras, though.

There appears to be some validity in teching to reavers against a hydra/lurker build, since the reaver is an effective unit against both, but I'd say you'd HAVE to scout first or risk getting demolished my mutalisks.
