▲ Coach MuMyung: With rock-bottom performance in Round 2, starting from Round 3, we underwent hellish training. As a result, compared to Round 1, 2 and 3's result of 7 wins 24 losses, we went 12 wins 10 losses, going 2-1 in the post-season. I always tell my players as a coach that hard work never betrays the results, and I think this is true.

Yeah, tell that to Jaedong who went 0-3.

JD is still by far the best player in the world, day 1 i don't want to blame it on anything, what i blame in day 2 was when the TV guy told him before the games that he has "dark swarm" all over his eyes that is unsuitable for his age, and this is in front of a huge crowd and television, and this is while he didn't have anything wrong with his eyes this day. Poor kid was so embarrassed and mentally shook off he wasn't able to talk properly after that choking on every word, started explaining that he's just angry, that was painful to watch. He's just a kid and embarrassment like that got in his head. 12 hatch and fantasy cheese were BS, how can you do that on outsider vs hyuk.

wtf ? You're blaming it on the MC now? You see, if JD were really affected by those words (which I highly doubt), it would then be his immaturity that cost him the game.

But what the hell were you trying to pull? Lee Jaedong is young, but he's a professional gamer. He's been through so many games, and leagues to be "mentally shook off" by just a few interview lines. He fought bravely today, and he lost. He lost because he just wasn't good enough, that he still needed to improve more. He took it like a man, he did not give out any excuses even though he could (tight schedule, shitty teammates to practice with, and yea the MC's words that distracted him ...). So don't you fucking dare to take that away from him, that pride he had when he stepped up there, facing a mighty opponent with tons of pressure on his shoulders.

I hope JD doesn't stay in the gutter too long. Thanks for the translation kona!

Different people, different opinions, i stand by mine, watching the stream i never saw JD so shocked that he was unable to talk other than after winning a starleague, but that's another deal. Seeing his body language and face after that i have not a trace of doubt in my mind that these words shook him off and were the reason of crappy performance.

I'm so disappointed. Until the very end i was sure Hwaseung will manage to win somehow.

If SKT ever get a good zerg, they will be near impossible to beat.

Agreed, their weak zerg line is the only thing that keeps them from dominating everyone.

I love oov and Boxer. I rooted for OZ and the 3 "underdog" delivered a win but JD failed big time. Losing against Fantasy because of overconfidence, BO loss against Hyuk and simply outplayed against Fantasy again. Great job SKT!

I really questioned the coaches choice to send fantasy instead of Bisu but it totally makes sense right now. Fantasy played much more comfortable, and when executing strategic play being calm and focused is everything. Bisu's position was interesting as well, knowing that if it comes to it, he will be the guy to win or lose it all. It turned out really good that Bisu was meant to be T1's last stand, but on the other hand it was fantasy, who was in the spotlight. That MBC coach is a genius

"We won today so I shall say it. It was Bisu."

T.T
That would've been an amazing game.
Just as fitting that fantasy got the win, though.

Indeed. I guess the coach also knew that Bisu had a better chance against JD. But I think fantasy is too pumped to face JD everyday because of the Batoo. lol Hoping for another epic bo5 between them.

I think that there are many upset people regarding my bold interviews, but I felt that this was my last chance to win before I enter the army, so I worked really hard. I am sorry if anyone was offended by my remarks, and I hope they understand that I never had any bad intentions.

SKT1 deserved this more imho, but JD just couldn't pull it off day2, hopefully he gets back up and owns the MSL and OSL. Thanks for the translations!

They are dominating everyone right now dude. what are you talking about? And since round 3 their zerg line up has >50% win. It's not strong but also defenitivel not weak.

too bad you had to miss the epicness of HYUK destroying JD!

it doesn't feel the same watching VODs man.. lol

he wasnt just destroyed, poor jd.

he was killed and sent to grave by fantasy,
then unburrowed and raped by hyuk,
and after that fantasy completely destroyed him for real.

I'll always be an MBC fan after what they did in 06, but T1 earned a lot points with me after reading all this.
