Open with 2 fact vult (only mine) to contain him. After you've made around 4 vults, get 2 starports, and make a few wraith, get cc, and siege mode. Then just wraith/tankdrop his cliff. Pretty solid build, only 3 fact vult might be a problem -.- | ||

wraiths are not rare in pro's T vs T. well I think newbies don't know how to use it ;p oh, I recommand you last week KT league boxer vs marine. Boxer has a gosu wraith control.  | ||

1. He FE Attack with 3-4 wraiths from 1 sg get some scv if you can, it will make him do some gols(stall him further). Expand more, scout drop and exes with your 3-4 wraiths that you didnt waste. Get up a nice tank army. 2. He goes drop. Have scouts around map so ull know were hes gonna hit so you can shoot it down, also get cloak. Expand ,get more air and mass tanks. 3 He goes air, get scanner instead of cloak, u will have some more wraith if he make cloak. Some strats of many in tvt which is the best mirror-mu i think. | ||

To answer the question as to why wraiths have *become* a rare sight in TvT: patch 1.08 Turrets were reduced to 75 minerals from 100, dropship speed was greatly increased, and goliaths were slightly improved. TvT used to be almost always a wraith war. It came to the point where many players would go 2 port wraith without cloaking because the time and cost of upgrading would mean one less wraith in whatever upcoming skirmish. A player using a non-wraith build against a wraith user would either get cliffed or contained, and you couldn't work around that with the slow dropship. | ||
