Another game that was entirely made by the context is sAviOr vs Iris on Arkanoid. sAviOr is in the height of his dominance. He held both starleagues at the same time and the only player who even seemed to be on a similar level had just been dominated. NaDa, the most successful player of all time, could not stop the Maestro. And yet here was Iris, a teammate who had always been in sAviOrs shadow. Nobody expected much of the series and yet it happened. sAviOr lost a game. This was back when we were surprised when sAviOr scouted in the wrong direction. When NaDa choked at the idea of bunker rushing him. And yet Iris beat him. At that moment we knew we were in for a good series. Game 5 on Arkanoid was an unforgetable experience. | ||

The multitasking skill to fight off Savior's advances while setting up mining factories, starports, and an impenetrable defense was one of the better performances I've ever seen. While there was a certain lameness about the turtling, getting in a position to turtle was amazing by FBH. /fanboyism | ||
