What are the most racially imbalanced maps of all time? (during their respective metagames, so no maps that were fine during their time but would be imba with modern techniques)
I can think of two infamous ones:
Battle Royal, on which teams just kept sending out Zerg users, leading to its replacement.
Central Plains, on which teams almost only sent out Protoss users, leading to its replacement.
Have there been any severely Terran favoured maps, for both matchups?

Early Blue Storm was imba in TvZ because it had no spaces behind the mineral line. Tears of the Moon is called Tears of the Protoss for a reason.

Blitz, Great Barrier Reef, and Paranoid Android gave Terran winrates of around 60% in both non-mirror matchups.
Odd-Eye is probably the most Terran favored at 58% in TvZ and 68% in TvP, but the sample size on that one is relatively small.
In modern maps, Allegro is trending towards passing 60:40 in TvP, which probably explains why Artosis considers it a somewhat decent map for the matchup.
Pelennor gets a significant mention for Terran having over 70% in TvZ and TvP, but the sample size there is under 10 games per matchup. It was used in exactly one OSL back in 2004.
Looking at statistics on old maps was an interesting experience, because the balance on some maps is very clearly a result of how the game was understood at the time the map was played. For example, Mutalisk micro.

Neo Forbidden Zone comes to mind, I remember Testie going 104(?)-0 on it in PvT before anyone managed to beat him in the matchup there, and TLPD has it as a 67% PvT winrate.

It's even worse in ZvP at like 68:32. Taking a third base is a struggle for Protoss on that map, and when it's finally done, it's just a mineral only.
Edit: Ok, I checked on eloboard.com. This is how it is right now: Largo (the older version):
TvZ: 55.2% PvT: 46.8% ZvP: 63.3% (!)
Allegro, the newer version:
TvZ: 51.9% PvT: 43.3% ZvP 59%
Still a bit of a yikes ZvP, but the other matchups are within acceptable ranges. Still, too imbalanced in my opinion, because of the ZvP. PvT is also a little suspect. I'd prefer 45% or 55% at worst.
Liquipedia has different statistics that show it as balanced except for PvT, which is very Terran favoured at 60%. Where does Liquipedia get its stats from? ASL only?

In favour of who? I'd argue having some P > Z maps would be good given ZvP at least always felt so imbalanced in favour of zerg lol

Pretty sure it is an island map like Dire Straits.

To defend against 3-hatch hydra pressure, Protoss needs to cannon up two locations.

Waiting to see someone say Fighting Spirit because of the 7 o'clock natural's turret placements.

Ive always wondered why no one ever made Neo Fighting Spirit. Given it's the map everyone's familiar with, a few tweaks here and there would make it one of the best maps around.

+Inability to expand anywhere because 6 speedlings can destroy any expo in 5 seconds.
I've watched some games where Z just A moves shit randomly and wins by a landslide. It's an embarassing map.

Surprised no one has mentioned Inner Coven yet -- the version they picked for ASL was a complete disaster, not a huge sample size admittedly, but I suspect that is because no one wanted to waste anymore time playing on it; although on a personal level it was fun to watch terran suffer for once!

So it achieved what it was supposed to.
Any one remember Desert Fox?
And what about just overall cringiness? Demon's Forest? DMZ?

Inner Coven / Core Breach was fine in every matchup except TvZ, and I believe that given more time, Terran would have found a way. Terran always finds a way.
Wasn't that map made by a non Korean? one of the usual suspects I seem to recall

Wasn't played for long, but I remember Ragnarok as a pretty ridiculous map - anti zerg and pro terran like no other!
TLPD has it as 13-1 for tvz.

Well, TvP was basically the race between the 2 push and the Carriers every game. Even putting aside balance, whenever a map forces players into that playstyle it always feels rather stale…
