I didn't use any cheats or slow game speed. I Allowed only SCV, Depot, and Command Centers. The Goal is to make 200/200 SCV ASAP.
I created this map with 2x50 stacks of minerals right next to CC on installation special buildable tile. I created slots for obs (but this is single player).
As soon as I start the map I hit record, build Scv, send to mine, Press '+' 5 times, and start music.
My build is simple:
Constant SCV, 8/10 depot, then Constant CC when minerals allow. I try to keep the CCs with 1 or 2 scv Queued each.
The triggers are set to end the map as soon as 200 scv (men) are there. You can see I get the error maxed out message about 10-15 seconds before victory screen. I completed this at 8:01 minutes (The video ends a few seconds later), This is the world record Afaik (I'm sure someone has done this before me, but I am the first to make a record it AFAIK) so don't flame me.
I was shooting for under 8 and I do think its possible, because I made a few errors and I am not sure if my strategy is the best. I didn't really tinker with any other builds.

-I want someone to beat my record (8:01 min). -I want to see records with Z and P (workers,lords,pylon,nexus,hatch only). -I also want to see records with 'any units' Since everyone wants to do this.
Lets get some healthy competition here, here is the map:
PS- I was planning to make this a Multiplayer map with better triggers (players could buy spells or nukes, etc), disable everything except workers-(etc), and sound effects. The Premise would basically be the same, First to 200 wins. Would anyone be interested in that?

this would have more meaning if done on a normal map. Like luna or someting. Then people can try and come up with diff strats. Also, there should be a battle between races.
The competition afaik was on www.infoceptor.net and terran maxed out with vults MUCH faster that you did it the vid. That was also done on a normal map instead of high money.
This in fact is pointless. Maxing out without an opponent doesn't make any sense.

Should be something like: Fastest 200/200 against a computer on some predetermined map. That was at least you have to remotely think about protecting yourself, instead of a mindless peon mass that any retard could do.
What are they going to try differently? I guess they could get more bang per buck with higher supply using units o.o Never mind, there's no gas. Absolutely not room for inovativity

PS- To everyone saying "oh its on fastest" or "do it on a pro map" etc. I t doesn't matter because it has no practical value multiplayer competition-wise anyways. And all the maps are different so there would be vastly different builds (because CCs need to be all over the map for scv production and not just to be at the expos themselves.)
I will have a crack at it anyways on Sin Gaema Gowon or something anyways just to get an idea of difference.

that's kinda weak.. I usually have 7-8 sneezes if I start to do it.. People usually look at me in strange/miserable ways when I do this at the uni or on the bus.

No I've done 11 in a row before, and then 3 in a row about 1 minute after that. My average is usually 6 sneezes in a row which usually happens twice a day.
Anyways 8:01 seems really slow lol, I've heard 8:30 is possible for standard terran with no attacking

I remember the old challenge to do this on SCL. That was a cool contest. They had a custom lotem for it where you could choose your location and everything. I tried a few times but then someone had an insane time and it felt pointless to keep trying cuz I was like a minute off lol
