There's 32bit (this was mainly phased out for Windows after XP, but you could still buy 32bit Windows in 7 and 8 iirc) and 64bit. To put it bluntly it affects how much RAM an application is able to use. 32bit computers and applications can only support a maximum of 4GB RAM. There's other differences as well but that's the main one. Issue was that Macs no longer support 32bit applications of any kind (or at least they won't) so this was something Blizzard have to fix or people won't be able to play the game from Macs at all. | ||
