what about bug fixes? Old bwchart can crash on replay scaning, also this can be very slow
|
Is there a reason to remove the old hack detection? Or did it cause false positives or something with new patches?
Otherwise same questions as Regis, BWChart constantly crashes when searching through replays and anytime you try and switch applications while its in a scan it crashes too.
Thanks for your work though Xboi, especially adding detection for oblivion fucks.
|
Thanks , I think the reason BW Chart would crash is because of invalid replay names or something, I remember just clearing replay folder, or re installing and it worked fine. Always loved BW Chart thanks!

I don't plan on any bug fixes because that would probably require me to extensively learn BWChart's code. I removed hack detection for the old mineral hacks because I feel that it's unimportant to have, you probably have a different opinion than me. Are there any particular replays(1.16.1) that are causing a problem? I'll take a peak at BWChart's code at least

Version 1.04E Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/9f3z29k7az1oi56/BWChart104e.zip Note: This version is unofficial
Changelog
- Brought back Windows XP support
- Added detection for Apocalypse v4.02 Automine hack
- Added detection for OrderBufferRaep v1.03d Mineral Hack
- Added detection for Blitzkrieg 1.0.3b Rally Hack
- Some hacks can be detected by looking for an asterisk(*) in the Action column
I'd like to point out that automine detection for Oblivion v4.0.6f will not work when using a different latency setting via LatencyChanger. Please report any bugs regarding hack detection.
|
cheers Xboi, appreciate your work <3
|
Thanks for adding all these detections xboi, dun even wanna go through reps >_>
Also to answer your previous question which I missed, I didn't think to check the release date of 1.16.1 before, but these are reps mostly from 2008 that crash BWchart, then come up as corrupted when you restart BWchart. Would using the old executables fix this issue?
However I have various folders of 1.16.1 replays where if you start bwchart on them and then switch to another application then BWChart crashes, and its annoying to have to keep the application in the forefront if its going through large sets of replays.

I decided to check my replay folder with your bwchart 1.04E just for shits and giggles. Out of around 400 games there were about 20 games that showed 1 or 2 in the "hacks" column in the replay browser. When checking them in the "charts" window, all of them have "SCV" as a parameter next to the action "HACK". About half of them have this action at some random time in the game (e.g. 10142, 14826, 18648), The other half is somewhere between 30 and 70. Also, most of the players that allegedly hacked were Terran, but there were 2 or 3 P and Z players (with the parameter "SCV") I'm fairly certain that there is some kind of bug in the hack detection seeing the examples above. First of all, some of the times seem really odd. Also, there are several people that hacked according to bwchart, but I'm absolutely 100% certain that they did not do so.
On a side note, there were 5-6 replays with obvious hackers (worker selection at 15, worker moves at 15, 20, and 25).

Please upload the replays somewhere so that I can inspect it. I suspect this is because of an incorrect algorithm for detecting rally hack from Blitzkrieg. Hacks can (unintentionally)force the parameter to be of a unit that the player does not have at all so those Zerg players were almost definitely using a rally hack and Protoss players can mind control a SCV so let's not rule that out yet.

It was working but now whenever I load it I get an Error that says "Un argument non valide a ete detecte." any advice?
Upon further inspection it seems to think that a replay is corrupt. Problem is that folder and replay no longer exist.
Upon further further inspection I was able to get around it but it's still saying that a replay that doesn't exist is corrupt.

Thanks. I appreciate the effort!

I want to be able to display the apm chart and actions at the same time overlapping. It was possible in early version 1.02 or something but I can't seem to get it work in the later versions. Anyone know?

Is bw chart for 1.18 in development? :p
|
It's already out, you can find it online. I forgot where I got it from, probably here or liquipedia. I can put the link when I get home

Here is a little alpha version of it, if anyone is interested. https://www.dropbox.com/s/og3vbnwvueihypp/bwchart200b.exe?dl=0I don't have the latest source code of bwchart, the one that was modified after I made it open source, so this version will miss all the updates that have been done since. If someone can point me out where the most recent source code is, I could add the zlib stuff in that version too. Happy Easter!

Thanks a lot
