Well, if you must know, unless maybe if you're Stork/JangBi , it takes more than one full engagement to clear a max terran army because your stuff starts melting before you even get past the minefield.

But if P can get his dream army with carrier/arbiter/high templar/dragoon, I doubt T can do anything.

The terran army is more positional. In a good position with well set up mine fields and siege tank lines the terran army is the strongest. When caught offguard or in a bad position it is very weak and fragile. I would say terran mech has the biggest power potential but also the biggest variance. A protoss army is quite consistent and less dependent on position but also more predictable and overall less cost efficient in your average engagement. Besides that, it depends on what you max out. 200/200 carrier army will beat everything. (except maybe scourge or defilers)

zealot 2 supply goon 2 supply vulture 2 supply tank 2 supply a vulture deals 20 ranged damage to zealots or goons shields, and can lay 3 mines that potentially deal 125 damage or more (say 0-400 or something) a tank deals 70 long distance damage with splash they only have a little less health overall, well vultures half a zealot tanks bit less than goon in this the vulture is particularly cost effective but even the tank zealot 16 melee damage, goon 20 ranged damage to tanks or 15 to vults.. not particularly fast attack rate except for zealots the damage of the terran army is huge, and they deal all this before you can start attacking their weak point (lower health) with obstacles in between, mines and/or buildings. So in the first rounds you will likely just lose relative power to begin with. However you can potentially convert some of this damage to damage to themselves (say 10-20% of the damage) so overall yeah at equal supply the terran army is a lot stronger, not to mention they scale at quite a significant advantage with upgrades as well. They are also more cost efficient. The thing with 100/100 is that you're not fighting it with 100/100 but maybe 120 or something. Because you must have an economic advantage (which you can secure thanks to T having a hard time preventing you from expanding faster than him), and also because their tanks do cost quite a bit more resource per supply. Their upgrade advantage also hasn't yet fully developped. At 200/200 you can't have a 240/240 which would be necessary to fight back (although stasis has potential to mitigate to an extent). Also generally with bigger armies there is less space to maneuver which is to the T army advantage, since you'd want to be able to spread out, flank and rush in to avoid all the splash and get directly to the tanks. It does depend a lot on the type of engagement you manage to make happen. As P you have access to some special tools that can change this situation but it is hard to use or rely on ; DTs to sneak in and snipe tanks or drag mines, reavers to pick at things while they siege or slow down while you build up supply, zeal bombs super cost effective or make him unsiege, or templars. Things is you pretty much need that gas for arbiters (or carriers) not to lose at 200/200 and a goliath or two, or a turret, is effective at denying zeal bombs, so many times people just go for arbiters or carriers asap instead of making them DTs/temps. Reav is good at slowing down T early rather reliably so its more common. If only tanks cost 3 supply ![]()
