You can also transition to carriers after going for a dragoon dweb timing attack. Lx (a Chinese player) did this in a few of his PvT games- see his game vs Tossgirl on Matchpoint from the STX masters replay pack. | ||

P is significantly less dependant on abilities than T. Only crucial loss for P is Storm, while T loses: Siege Mode (lol), Stim (lol), Medic's Heal (rip bio), Spider Mine (rip map control), Irradiate (as if TvZ could be made any more impossible) and Scan (gl defending against DTs). Minor losses also include wraith's Cloak which eliminates the only remaining viable tech choice against zerg. Basically: how the hell does T expect to have any chance? In PvT, the P only needs to make speedlots, DTs and dragoons to win (Zealot speed is an upgrade, not an ability). Unit quality is simply too good for T to handle, and DTs are especially crippling. Without scan for DTs, terran will be forced to spam turrets every game and be chained to his base, lest he builds Science Vessels only for detection (lol) which is a significant investment of resources. Every game in TvP, T will be forced to start out with turrets and transition into handicapped Vessels just to stay alive. The constant harass threat and map control that DTs give P is absolutely crippling for T without scan. Yes, P loses Arbiter and Carrier, but those are far less core than friggin siege tanks. P can win frequently vs T without Arbiters or Carriers, but TvP without siege or spider mine is a complete joke. And don't get me started on TvZ. Yes zerg loses swarm and lurkers, but that's nothing compared to losing stim, medics, siege and irradiate. Going 3 hatch muta should be an autowin every game. Earlygame Z can hold easily with lings and sunks, and if T overcommits to firebats that just means the victory is even easier when the mutas pop. Only possible counter is Goliaths, but then Z counters right back with hydras. GG. If for some godforsaken reason T should survive until the endgame, it's Ultra time. Good luck dealing with fully upgraded ultras without siege, spider mines, irradiate or stim. Z can also freely complement with fully upgraded cracklings, as none of its upgrades are abilities. This may be the weirdest poll result I've ever seen on TL. Zerg is rightly on top as ZvP is a roflstomp without storm or reavers for P. But Terran would be the worst race without abilites, by a far margin. | ||

didnt watch all of it, who is the best at micro? lmao a group of mutas vs 3 archons. they are saying it's impossible lol. "can't break it!" but then they destroy it. i think mong is the best it seems like he knows what to do | ||
