- Teams submit their Starcraft 1 players before the first set, and then submit their Starcraft 2 players after the third or second set.
- The players are revealed as they are required to play. If the SC1 or SC2 series does not need to go to a third set, the prepared player is still announced.
- Players who competed in Starcraft 1 will play Starcraft 2 in the next game on the same day (???), and players who competed in Starcraft 2 will play Starcraft 1 in the next game on the same day (???).
It makes no sense wtf?
They are creating a frankenstein..

If SC2 is the ace match shouldn't this be on the SC2 forum instead of BW (or both)?
|
So I'm assuming that this season of proleague will be only the bw teams like kt, ace, etc playing BW and SC2?
Will teams ever partner up like EG-KT or something along those lines?
I've watched a very limited amount of BW so I'm just curious as to how this will unfold
|
Eww, so players have to play twice in two different games? That sucks because you gotta prepare for both games at the same time and this format only allows 3 players in the spotlight. Terrible rule if what posted is correct.
|
At least they are keeping ace match for the regular season this time.
|
11 hour event for the first day. holy fuck
|
Oh fuck their obligated to flipflop? I was hoping there would still be some players who hard lined bw to the end.

So much for developing young talent. Now we are just going to see the top 3 players play both games, as far as i can tell.
Also, Woongjin Fighting!

My reading of that is that they can play a player like Flash in BW in consecutive matches, until he's run out of days where he's played BW first? For example, they send Flash out for BW on Tuesday, then next time its BW on a Thursday, next time they play on another Tuesday though, Flash can only play SC2?
Or is the "on the same day" thing just a weird translation thing and it's meant to be that no player can play the same game for 2 consecutive appearances?

huh, they play SCBW Then SC2?? I am sort of confused on that...
edit: if this is true, they are HARDCORE Penalizing sc2 players who will not have the multitask at all to compete in BW... will be hilarious shit

SC2 Official maps: Antiga Shipyard, Entombed Valley, Cloud Kingdom, Ohana (all ladder).
All ladder? That means the gold bases are left in then
|
I'm very confused now. :S
|
Ladder Antiga? Antiga is an enh map, especially the ladder version. But I sincerely hope they're disallowing horizontal spawns.
Ohana and Cloud Kingdom, good maps (made by ICCUP, in fact). Entombed is a Blizzard map, but it's one of their good ones, despite looking kinda ugly.
Noteworthy: No GSL-made maps in OGN proleague. Hmmmm....
|
At least this is better than alternating sets IMO. Ace match should definitely be BW though really
|
What the hell. Of all the ways they could have done this they chose one super strange

What a lousy map pool. Ladder versions T_T *shudders*.

At the very least for the SC2 maps OGN could have used some ESV maps or other maps made by the communities. And for the antigua shipyard, I hope they edit it to fix the spawn locations.
