So in other words, we get to watch the final days of BW as the days when everyone stops even practicing the game.

That doesn't make any sense tho. There is a prize money for these things. You honestly think the finalists of the OSL are going to be like:" O well fuck this first place check" and not end up practicing at all? No lol.If anything these people will practice more in the upcoming week than they have in their entire career and that is the real problem here. The greed of kespa and sponsors have thrown them into such a situation that they will be mentally on the edge... I would not be surprised if we see decent or very good quality of the games but the players will suffer so much its going to be ridiculous.

I'm expecting a lot of the games to be crap for both because of the split focus/training.

However... Once they get deeply skilled in SC2, it would become much easier actually to perform close to their highest skill in both games and prepare well for each match. Especially since the scheme still allows to plan this in advance. That's why I still have solid hopes for the OSL to remain pure BW - and that's why they still say they are undecided about OSL and don't call their OGN individual league in SC2 "OSL something".

I don't need to argue logistics or theories when the evidence is right there. The OSL games are terrible.

Yeah, Korean SC is now dead, as far as I'm concerned. It's really destroyed, and I won't be going near it again. Pretty sad.

As were half of the proleague games the last season and players weren't practicing sc2 intensively or at all back than as far as I know. Well see how its going to be like in the ro16.I'm not saying that the games will be a work of art but they may end up being better than everyone expected but at a high cost.

People were practicing. They were confirmed to have been practicing for some time actually. ![]()

A lot of people have been saying the same thing for some time now. -_- It's honestly not good for entertainment value or competition. We'll be lucky to get 1-2 decent/good games a night with this format. If I'm GOM or any other League. I'm laughing because KeSPA just deteriorated one thing they had going for them. This will be the one season to forget. It's okay teams. Everyone WINS!

As Kespa enters the Starcraft 2 scene, fans are already hyping up the match between you and Flash. It will be fun to play against him. However, I’ve seen recent articles about Starcraft 1-Starcraft 2 running in parallel. Frankly, the two games running in parallel is too hard on progamers. I’ve played Starcraft 1 from time to time as a Starcraft 2 gamer and it feels way too different. I regret the fact that Starcraft 1 gamers have to play two games at once. I think the people who decided this were too selfish. They didn’t consider the players at all. edit: sorry already posted, didnt see it.
