So basically, if a player plays BW in his match, the next time he appears must be in an SC2 match and vice-versa. Still unsure if players are allowed to play twice in one day though but I doubt it because they have a minimum of 6 players in the line up. From the previous Proleague, a player could only play once in a match.
Well right now one "match" consists of two best of 3 matches. I was wondering if a player plays BW, can he play SC2 on the same day. Because according to the LR, even if a player is set to play the 3rd match of BW but it wasn't necessary because the first two were already won, it counts as them being sent out. So if Flash is listed to play set 3, and this sort of situation arose, he wouldn't be able to play until the ace match.

this format is just really bad, this won't get fans unless they love awful games.

I cant believe this. Now players like Flash Bisu and Jaedong will suck at sc2, and most importantly BW. Seriously I wouldnt be surprised if all of their APM drops to 200 in BW with their format set like this...just wow...

The OP is not even sure if this is correct though.

Because only one of them is enjoyable to watch =_=.

People can like both games. The problem with this format is that it forces players to practice both at once, each of which is far too difficult for anyone to show a top performance in with just half their time devoted to practice. It will be subpar BW and subpar SC2. Nobody really wants that.

It's not their general mechanics that will suffer as much as the strategic aspect. Their builds will probably be less clean and precise as well.

WTB timemachine And reason why we can't all just get along Maybe, just maybe, TBLS, all the A class players will be able to handle BW themselves, give BW it's last big hurrah and let the practice partners and B-teamers try their hand out at sc2

You BW guys are so obsessed about graphics.

Honestly though I think this is a way for Kespa to encourage BW players to transition to SC2 and not just retire after or be left in the dust by BW players who just go 100% SC2. It's also a way to encourage the fans to transition as well. 2 birds with 1 stone. I honestly don't see a better implementation from Kespa's point of view. They want the BW pro's to transition, they want to have a BW -> SC2 fan base switch, and this is basically the only way to do it. If they allowed BW pro's to just play BW and have the ace match be BW, then BW fans would have even less incentive to watch SC2 because they will just see this as the last tournament. At least this way BW fans may stay to support the players and the teams and in term transition along with them.

I think it's best. I would hate for a player to lose via nuke landing on army and afterwards say they lost because they didn't understand the warning.

We aren't obsessed about graphics We're obsessed about being able to make out whats going on in a huge battle Being able to pick out the small details in the large engagements Being able to not watch a Michael Bay film, but watch a work of art, one of those classic movies I've never watched cause I'm so young Being able to understand the flow of the game

That'd be fine, but the problem is that if you play one game in a given match, you need to play the other next match. It's a terrible format.

Aaaaand whatever scant interest I had in the upcoming season of proleague just went out the window. Players splitting up their practice time is just going to make all the games look amateurish.

yuck... I still can't believe they're really doing it -.-
