Protoss: easier to play mechanically, boring music and unit sounds.
Zerg: reasonable challenge, race-design-wise so different it's almost like playing a different game.
Cool game though, best of luck to you. I suggest you join sGs since there's a lot of noobs and also some good players that are willing to help with practice and such. omg is this so true. It feels so good though once you get D+ and up! Sometimes I want to punch my screen while playing TvP. I set up a decent mine field only to have lamelots..errr speedlots mine drag right onto my tanks. I disagree, Z has the best unit sounds and music. If you played ZvT, then you will see Zerg has to work harder. Delaying the enemy push with mutas only, secure and defend the third successfully, holding of marine drops in all bases while at the same time coping with marine squads which dodge swarm. Bio TvZ is the most mechanically challenging MU in the game, isn't it?
Without a doubt. The micro is what makes it so hard.

Oh terran hybris. Play Zerg and rage at how your 3rd gets killed.

Fuk, reading this make me want to get back to BW. Was playing BW on and off from 2001, follow Korean pro scene for a long time. Be a traitor and joined the SC2 forces, get bored with it and quit like 6 months ago. Mainly play LoL now.
I love BW, and I know if I come back, I will be destroyed for the first 50 games or so since before I quit I am only a D/D+ noob. People, give me a reason to come back !!!

I love BW, and I know if I come back, I will be destroyed for the first 50 games or so since before I quit I am only a D/D+ noob. People, give me a reason to come back !!! Heres a simple reason. Many active tournaments are going on and many are about to get the finals. There are also a handful of casters myself included in the Brood War scene. PsyonicReaver, SayleBW just to name a few. Many tournament go on iCCup if your interested. I believe there are still a handful of semi and ex pro's that are laddering on Fish Server. Devoted community to continue to make Brood War alive. Many similar faces will keep on coming up and up the more you get involved with the scene.
The Pro League just finished and is was Biso Vs. Flash amazing game. All English commentary can be found @ Sayle's YouTube if your interested. He casted the whole Pro League in English just for viewers like us. Also that will give you ideas for builds and such. Your more then welcome to come to Brood War. However, it will be a long road to become a decent player. Also LoL skills don't really translate well into 1v1 (1x1) RTS games like Starcraft

Since you already know you love BW you dont need other reasons, come back already! BW is still kicking after 14 years.

TvZ is easy you just have to go to the location with all your barracks then you have to press m a bunch of times and sometimes you might have to change it up and even press c a few times i know that can be trouble but you have to eventually make more then 1 unit, but what comes out of these barracks are space marines, which are pretty much like a fusion of john rambo and dutch from predator

you guys have obviously not try building any tanks. Once a Terran is able to get his fourth base running, they are immediately unbreakable with good alignment and competency.

Congratulations on one of your most worthy purchases!!! Respect and good luck have fun

BW is great hope you find out where you fit in because I'm still a noob there
|
I find this thread's racial hate between Zerg and Terran users amusing.
|
You just got one of the greatest games every created! Have fun :D:D

|
Nice to see the broodwar players supporting new guys, on the other hand over at the sc2 side.....
