I realize it has been a while since I have casted, Honestly my life has been a little ridiculous, so it took a lot for me to cast this just now. I realize I might not have the best analysis but hopefully i am sort of entertaining I realize I just ramble a little bit, don't be afraid to be critical
And I want to reiterate that if YOU have a game that you want me to cast (ANY game) , please PM me or post and I will try to cast it
Thanks guys!
PS I also hate ads so I apologize if any come up on my channel, i can't do anything about it i think T_T

i'm actually playing in the DRTL so casting it too is just kind of awkward. what other tournaments are there right now?
Good parts I liked -Pay attention to small detail moves (minus the hydra den ^^) -You have a nice voice to listen to -Filling background knowledge of players -Don't know if it was intentional or not, but ignoring the supply counter on the bottom right. A little mystery gives a lot of excitement (imagine if we could see the drop upgrade go up lol)
Things to improve on -Yea could lower your yelling a bit ^^. -Background knowledge of both players would be nice, s2 although with a better vP record in TLPD, I would think n.Die_soO is above s2 in vP, and that s2 was used as a vZ sniper last season -Could also mention the small tricks for newer people, like the moving drop technique s2 used, and Leta's grouping of wraiths with a single different unit, to get them clumped up like that.
And yeah that was Kim Dong Woo coach of CJ Entus ^^. Happy Casting~
You get really excited, then calm down suddenly to make a quick side comment sometimes. I thought it was pretty funny when I first heard it, but I recommend just sticking to the action when its appropriate. Great cast overall and perfect choice of game too. CJ!
-Yea could lower your yelling a bit ^^. hahah thanks yeah I'll try to set up my mic better or something next time ><

how different are any of these players really? Especially when you remove soo's last 5 vs p losses, he goes up to a 60% win rate.
Also sorry, i assumed that saying "S class" implied a 60%< win rate. A class to me is from 50-60% win rate, and B class is below that.
-Could also mention the small tricks for newer people, like the moving drop technique s2 used, and Leta's grouping of wraiths with a single different unit, to get them clumped up like that. Yes. I tried to do that at one point >< but i didn't hahah.
-I recommend just sticking to the action when its appropriate Was wondering about this. I will do this for sure.
"btw for him he should learn its LEE-TAH not let-ah"
What makes you say this? I know day9 says is like lita, but I don't know / understand why...
Lol I love the excitement, its funny when you get so excited that you can't even describe what's going on. However, maybe some more analyses along with the energy would be nice? Overall you got another subscriber
Awesome job on these! I pretty much agree with what was said above. Voice is really good - you sound a bit like HD which is a good thing. Less shouting would be better (although it's understandable in respect to the game, I know I was this excited when I watched it myself) + get a better mic or do whatever it is you can do to get a better sound out of it. Otherwise all you need to do is to regularly cast some games and focus on improving your casting one step at a time. You've got a lot of potential, if you can make a plan and follow it, you will be good. If you'll just cast a few games every now and then, that's nice but you probably won't get that much attention. Either way good luck!
suscribed to help you out, i liked the cast but a little bit less of yelling because it saturates your mic and sounds painful when you yell too high , as Stratos said try to get a better mic to get better sound if u can, english casters always a good thing ! =)
I feel like you need more practice explaining what the players are doing. I'm only 4 mins 30 into the first video, so far it seems like in a couple of months these casts would be great if you keep at it. Subscribed anyway.
Edit: "LOL WTF HYDRAS", classy Hmm I'm at 9:45, and I feel like if there was a downhill, that's where the casting went. Don't discuss individual units, talk about the overarching strategies. Theorycraft forward even, how could Leta combat the mass undetectable lurkers in his main, as opposed to the 'OMG LURKERS OMG OMG OMG LURKERS'
You might want to consider pre-watching the VOD's in future.
Edit 2: You sounded ill during the cast, those sniffles were possibly more annoying than anything else :D I definitely feel like you should have pre-watched it and pre-planned at least some of what to say and when.
You no longer need to limit your videos to 15 minutes due to YouTube, all you have to do is add a phone number and then verify this. It's a lot nicer than having two parts to videos, unless you want a video with two parts. Like, "The X Saga, part 1" or something.
I subscribed. Good casting, good knowledge, good enthusiasm for the game, and great potential. No real complaints; considering you have only done a few commentaries so far, it is reasonable to expect that you will improve as a matter of fact, as you gain experience doing more commentaries. Keep up the good work. I will watch your videos.
I wouldn't really pay too much attention to the specific criticisms/suggestions; each person has their own specific preferences, and its never really possible to cater to them all (as far as I'm concerned, there are no significant flaws, or flaws worth mentioning at this point - the style of the commentator is up to the commentator). Certainly note useful suggestions, and consider implementing them, but its also important to do what is enjoyable and comfortable within the broader goal of providing entertaining and informative commentary (a lot of commentators have burned out, for one reason or another).
But definitely do not pre-watch vods in the future, as was suggested above; that is a terrible idea, for obvious enough reasons.

Obvious reasons? And those would be?
Him having some idea what to say in advance for the big battles would have made for a better cast. He can always act surprised/Yell to hype it up when he knows its a good moment.

Well, I'm not sure what specifically prompted your suggestion that he should watch videos (I assume its something to do with what he was saying during big battles) but I think a more desirable and effective solution, would come from simply casting more videos and getting more experience (it is harder to think of things to comment on, earlier on, but it gets easier with time).
Pre-watching videos however, is going to necessarily detract from key features of informative and entertaining commentary: for example, commentary involves the analysis of build orders, tactics, strategical play, possible outcomes, branches of action, etc, and if the commentator already knows the result of the game, his/her analysis is undermined from the perspective of a listener, and therefore uninteresting to say the least. Hopefully this reason is sufficient. There are also others. It wasn't my intention to offend anyone, but I don't think commentators should pre-watch videos.

yeah i don't know how people don't get this. Commentating isn't about knowing the answer. thats why even post live games make it hard to cast sometime. just cause you know schroddinger's (sp) box has been opened.
In my experience, do NOT watch the VODs beforehand. It's more a case of practice- that is your preparation.
I don't know if you've seen any of my casts (EleGant, for UED gaming), but believe me when I say that watching a game twice, or even just knowing the outcome makes it impossible to bring the same enthusiasm or provide a non-biased analysis.
