Changes:
- wider choke (naturally )
- bases at 3 and 9 have broken-up cliffs surrounding them
- 1 less mineral at top-right and bottom-left expos
- a few more doodads around the centre

I think all the changes are ok besides the choke thing.. why would you want it wider?

I liked the narrow choke, it was what made Ash Rose Ash Rose. Now it's something else :p

good changes, except I don't know why you made the choke wider (not saying it's bad)

is it to make it harder to camp with your main + nat?

Actually you can still hit half the minerals with lurks, but I can change that too .

anyways, I don't think you should've changed it.

It's still fairly easy too defend anyways.. it's not like "oh shit its a bit wider now let me run straight into all those cannons with my hydras"

A map is a map, if you fuck too much with it it's not the same map anymore! Changing a few things like adding doodads and such are ok.. but the width of that entrance is important, and therefore I think it would be wrong to change it. Just my opinion :p

Excellent changes IMHO. Unlike others I LOVE the widening of the choke. This didn't make the map loss any of it's personality, it just made breaking out of contains far more resonable. And the slight nerfing of lurk cliffing is good too. Don't treat this as a big change people. The lurks still hit so it doesn't eliminate the tactic.

For god sakes, you still can't build any cannons at the gas nat up the ramp, so he isn't making it THAT P friendly...Do you want PvZ to be impossible? I don't see any good reasons to keep it so tiny.

Nice changes.

hmmm, wouldnt PvT P getting owned at the rose bud? I mean they have to go spiral to come in the middle T_T and soo many cliffing possible T_T poor toss.

Bill, what program do you use to decorate? In all of your maps you are superb at it.

ihatett, the only reason you're curious about it is probably the fact that you're too lazy to decorate ;_;

Anyway, I do feel the widened choke is important. One of the initial things that bugged me about the map was seriously the fact that it was annoying to get people through.

Regardless of the playability, Char maps suck because its so hard to see the landscape on the minimap. Other than that it looks good.

I have seen things that must have taken a very long time to decorate in some maps (like very thick broken cliffs) and I was just wondering if they actually use staredit. That is all that I use.

I think Mani mentioned in his commentary on MMI that the spaces above the top island and below the bottom one seem sort of like wasted space... Is there anything that can be done about that?

There is no difference between maps with 2 start locations and maps with 4, because both are played with 2 players.

nah, I rekon the random toggle of spawning location in a 4 players map would influence the stratey in someway... for example, 6/9 LT is great for wraith and drops, and 12/3 LT is great for zealot pressure ect.

Not if they are asymmetrical plus there is those extra 2 spots you have to scout.
