Yes, the main problem with 7 games (6 1v1s, 1 2v2) is that for most nations will be pretty much impossible to get that many people at same time.

So I think the format should be like old proleague was:

Player 1 <map> Player 2

<Set 2>
Player 3 <map> Player 4

<Set 3>
Player 5 & Player 6 <map> Player 7 & Player 8

<Set 4>
Player 9 <map> Player 10

<Set 5> = Ace Match
Player 11 <map> Player 12

It's similar to our standard clan war format, but the difference is that games are played after each other and not at the same time, which increases team spirit when you cheer for your team mate waiting on his results while watching the stream.

absoutley agree with this.

Maybe we can have the default format be the old Proleague Bo5, but if both team leaders agree to it, then they can increase it to a Bo7? This way, smaller teams will be able to play, but if two of the bigger teams face off, they'll be able to play a longer series and not be restricted because of the small teams.

yeah, i agree with this
certainly we have to accommodate small teams, but i think we still have to consider players in big teams.
we hold this event because we want to revive SC community, therefore it is better for us to get more people involved in it.

SC is like sex. You should play often, but never too hard. And you should only try hard when it matters.

I like the idea of an adaptable system, at least until the interest and activity can be properly gauged. Nice idea.
