EPTOn my old computer I used to never have these problems at all. Once I got my new computer everything went downhill from there. Except the fact that it's really pretty and smooth and fast :-D. So the question is: is there anyway to fix this? Help! O:!!!!

I believe the port for b.net is 1112 Maybe it is 6112. Can't remember which. | ||

My ISP kinda blocks some ports i think, sometimes i cant use p2p software and i cant host games on bnet unless i've been with them in another room recently. Is there a way to see wha ports are open, and how to open/close them? | ||

It's either a firewall or a router blocking ports. 4000 is for B.net itself, 6112-6119 for SC. | ||

if you have a router at home you go start - run - type: cmd - then : ipconfig take the ip for the "default gateway" and put it in your browser. For example: http://192.168.10.254 is likely. You will then access the router settings. Find the "virtual server" option and open ports 6112 and 4000 for udp packets. Find you own ip and set virtual server to forward to you. | ||
