Yea I was really looking forward to july, nada, savior (before all that shit happened) and midas joining ACE and keeping the old-school feeling on the team, but pretty soon THEROCK (and Much to a lesser extent) will be the only true old-schooler left on ACE, and there arent really many old-schoolers left to replace him (I can only think of midas really as the only "old-schooler" who hasnt joined ACE yet). not to mention that GGplay may very well be joining ACE around now if he didnt retire :\
imagine how different things would be if rainbow was never rejected by ACE last year. ACE might not be that different but the SC2 scene would be DRASTICALLY different lol.

I think Ruby is really the biggest success story for ACE. he was always outshined by sea/light on MBC and never really made it big at all while there, but on ACE he became their best player for seemingly over a year and actually had BETTER results in individual leagues after joining ACE.

I was waiting for Iloveoov and JulyZerg to join ace..... Much like how Yellow and BoxeR joined Ace as rivals. After Iloveoov and JulyZerg, probably Flash and Jaedong.

now that you mentioned it .. yeah i remembered .. but i thought Stork also had eye laser surgery and he is still using glasses so i just thought maybe the lasers didn't do much good on his eyes

Darkelf, m18m and peace all have/had glasses during service. The eyesight regulations aren't strict to the point of needing 20/20. Depending on his prescription (plus the possibility of LASIK should he choose it) Stork could be a candidate for ACE.
As an ace fan, I feel pretty meh about this to be honest. Definitely not high on my list of people I'd love to see on Ace. But, now that he's on my team, Piano Fighting!

Yeah. When someone you know says they are joining the air force it doesn't mean he's gonna fly an f-16 in 3 years. Only a very small percentage of people enlisted in an air force get to fly (smartest, best eyesight, most physically fit, etc). Everyone else gets a desk job or work on the ground.
Not too excited about the news since ACE already has Ruby, Firebathero, Iris. Let's hope he finds more success in ACE. Also does this mean Free's the captain of woongjin?
