![]() I'm scared to find out who the former progamers are too... At least I know Reach would never stand for it. He lost to Tossgirl fair and square ![]()

What am pretty sure of though is that Bisu vs Savior MSL finals was not fixed, do you know why? Because those are humans we are talking about. There are emotions and facial expressions that cannot be faked. Just look at the shock on Savior's face when Bisu used those builds. In the final game, look at the spontaneous reaction from Savior when he was moving his hydras in a funny way just before he typed GG, not believing that he actually lost. It's pretty clear his behaviour was spontaneous and he was shocked with the way the games turned out.

Considering 2 of the biggest stars of the game, and one of the most beloved old pros are implicated, that's pretty bad. With SC2 coming soon, this kind of questionable integrity could finish Brood War competition for good. Steroids tarnished an entire era and a large number of players who played during that time, but at the same time the game was so embedded into American culture there was no way it could totally "ruin" the game. To say that is a gross exaggeration. The game no doubt suffered a loss of popularity but it was never at risk of becoming defunct - it was and still is still an incredibly profitable business. Pro BW could be in big trouble though, no doubt, depending on who and how many people are indicted with this kind of collusion. My gut says that the progaming scene has been through enough already to survive this at least until SC2 comes out and we see a huge resurgence in interest. At the same time all the past scandals would be dwarfed in comparison to this if what has been suggested is true, so only time will tell.

SC2 will be fine assuming Kespa deals with this well (suspending/banning players found to be guilty, and instituting more ways to prevent this, and possibly making it less desireable to take bribes by making free agency more viable)

I'm actually really pissed off about this. Of all the places, purposely losing in Pro Gaming? this is an outrage.
