Nothing actually. I just regged to acces to forum to see what's up with sc1. I really liked watching sc1 vids. But i am not really into the scene. I watched Klazart and after klazart husky and HD. But klazart quit and HD and husky are busy with sc2. So in my eyes it just seems sc1 isn't doing so well. And now with a big gambling scandal. That isn't helping as well. Starcraft isn't doing well because klazart quit? You know Korean Air, Shinhan Bank and ogn and mbc tv ads aren't targeted at foreign fans right. Guy has an opinion that SC1 is dying, and many people agree with that. There's no point to attack him for his beliefs.
SC1 is dying, and many people agree with that. I believe that it is God's intention to create this scandal so that everyone would switch to sc2. God is Blizzard. Don't attack my beliefs because a lot of people agree that sc1 is dying also.

It might help to explain how savior could have supposedly gotten 2 million dollars. I doubt he really threw like 25% of his games or whatever it is that someone calculated. Most likely he probably threw a few really big games, maybe even the finals to make that kind of money (assuming hes even guilty).

...wow, that's depressing.
Of course, it gives us one more reason to like the players who perform consistently - they're more likely to be honest. FlaSh hwaiting!

this sucks, but it's finally gotten me talking about pro starcraft with some of my friends.
crappy time to introduce them though

So cool to see all these other gaming websites mentioning Teamliquid :D.

Hey guys - I'm a freelance writer and I'm doing a piece on the StarCraft match fixing scandal for Australian PC gaming mag PC Powerplay. If any players who use this forum want to comment on the scandal - anonymously or on the record - just send me a PM.
I just wrote a 5000 word article about how well SC is doing in Korea and what SC2 will do to the industry; it's a shame that this scandal has erupted. But please, give me your opinion on what it will do to the industry.
Thanks, Doug

You could ask some well known community figures like iNcontroL, Artosis, Tasteless, Nazgul, etc.
Make sure you do not publish the list that was posted here as a list of those found guilty. It's just a rumoured list of players who are supposedly under investigation.

Any updates regarding this?

Kind of sad how short the attention-span of the public is. Scandal? Just sit it out.

Yeah, scandal just kinda died. Damn it, I HAVE to know who the players were.

Didn't Rek mention a massive cover up going on? I guess that's why there's no news.

Interesting. Suppose the damage may have been to big to repair if it had got out properly.
