in simple words that everybody will understand:

teams 13 and 14 did NOT bend any rules... they were selected random as all the other teams as far as I know.

There was no rule about the maximum number of teams, we just didnt have enough coaches.

The problem with 15 and 16 is the request of the coaches to train specific D players when there is almost 150 people wanting to enter and not being able.

It doesnt matter what one of the guys is saying that "in irc they all agree on creating the 15/16 even if it bends the rules"... I am telling you that there are 150 people who are against it, here in the thread or in op CPL which is where it matters, and personally I think that yeah we can create 15/16 if and only if their players are selected randomly as we did with the other teams.

This is the season that matters the most and I think we should do EVERYTHING in our power to make it succeed and if that means that we wont create 15/16 bending the rules then thats how is going to be.

Whatever. The most important thing is that l10f has to make a decision and have that decision be final. No bitching/whining/complaining/arguing/etc.

Okay.

I am very, very sorry to StorrZerg and his team, and Xenocide_Knight and his team. I really have nothing against you, but I will do what I think is the best for the interest of this season.

I'm really, really sorry (can't say this enough), but please, just let it go. I know it sounds unfair, but I really want this league to succeed, and I have to agree with Saracen, especially with the start only a couple of days away.

Regarding team 13, 14, NoobBoy signed up as a coach before, but couldn't find a pair for him so we couldn't sign him up. Once Lz, Future, and DjCuBe wanted to make teams as well, I paired them up. They did not ask for six of their friends to be on the team, and I took the people that showed interest on this tread on the team.

I'm sorry but can we please stop arguing?

I'm especially sorry for Xenocide. I really am.

EDIT: Sorry typo.

Rules are there for a reason, just like deadlines and due dates. Without rules, it's impossible to get this many people to cohesively function together.

If you are starting a new league, you have to make it seem like a well-established league for it to succeed, NOT like a new league. People need to feel that it's going to work in order for it to work. You can't go around switching up rules just to accommodate certain people and being all experimental. We don't have admins or mods to help keep people in line. All we have is trust and the rules.

The league is still being set up, it would be wrong to bend the rules mid season.
Rules are also meant to be changed, look at the us constitution, you ever hear of amendments? They changed the rules.

Your taking this all way to cut throat, its a friendly D lvl league, not some high level league where every thing needs to be placed out and perfect.

well there is the problem... We want it to go on and become that "high level league" that you are talking about.

and yes l10f, esx_raptor and me are trying to make it as professional as possible... granting you guys having selected players while the other 14 teams didnt have that chance is not professional OR fair.

For fucks sake take me out of the team then. My friend will coach a team of random people.
Either that or teams 13 and 14 get removed

I was wrong in doing that. I should have discussed with the people first.

As I said in my previous post, I'm really sorry.

Actually, I don't agree with this post 100%. I don't want to make it as professional as possible, I just don't want to take a risk of this ONE season failing.

you know this is kinda funny. there is this much anger over having TOO MANY interested and guaranteed active people. just wait until no shows start popping up and the 30 minute grace period becomes an issue... this really should be a non-issue in comparison. i can GUARANTEE we would actually be active throughout the season.

there was no such a rule... at the beginning he wanted to do 12 or MORE if there was enough coaches, but there werent.

and yes THAT is the problem that they did follow the random selection and race and skill distribution... your team dont want to be randomly selected and people are complaining... 150 of them...

You made the decision to allow my team in, and saracen is whining about how my team came to be. You have willing coaches and guaranteed participants that would like to play in a league designed for D skilled players. There is absolutely no reason why the team should be revoked as long as it follows the guide lines for race and skill.

l10f should at least think about this longer than an hour or two. And at least allow me to discuss my position with other coaches. Since you did allow my team in. And now your going back on your word based off one whinny guy complaining about how my team came to be. If by not allowing my team in, you must then make sure that no coach gets someone that he knows when the players need to be filled in during the drop out.

TEAM 16 doesn't have ANY Players the coach requested. it's ALL random. I'm taking myself out of team 16 if need be.
