◆20 year olds, talking about women. DES= You two must have an image of an ideal woman. Since Jaedong is so famous anyway, let's talk about Lomo's first.
I'm telling you a secret but Jaedong joined her fanclub. The site is bookmarked on his computer. I think he visits there a lot (laughs).
Jaedong= Shut up.
Lomo= Why? It's true!
DES= Does it have to be Yeon Hee for you Jaedong?
Jaedong= That's not it (laughs). I'm shy when it comes to women so I like energetic and talkative women. I also like women that can laugh a lot when they're with me. For some reason, I like older women. I don't get attracted by women that are younger than me. Oh, and I don't worry about looks.
Lomo= Really?
Jaedong= Yes!
Lomo= Your ideal woman is Lee Yeon Hee.
Jaedong= That doesn't mean that I care about looks!
Lomo= Jaedong wants to get married soon (laughs).
Jaedong= I hope I can get married soon. I'm always wondering about who my future wife is going to be. I just want to get married quickly and have a happy family.
I want to have one son and one daughter. I want to have a son first so he can be a caring brother to his sister. You know those men that have a beautiful sister and has to protect them. I want my children to be like that. I sometimes dream of living with such a family.
Lomo= I haven't thought about marriage. Unlike Jaedong, my girl has to look good and have a sexy body (laughs). I won't say affectionate things like Jaedong.
Jaedong= When was I like that!
◆Boys want sisters DES= Why do you want to have a boy and a girl as children?
Jaedong= I only have older brothers so I sometimes wish I had a younger sister. I don't think it's possible that my parents will have another baby so I want my children to experience the happiness I couldn't.
I also thought it'd be nice to have an older sister. Whenever I see my friends' sisters take care of their brothers, I wish I had an older sister. Older brothers only make you do things for them.
Lomo= I wish I had an older sister too. I have a younger sister, but I wish I had an older one that would take care of me.
Jaedong= Lomo isn't nice to his sister. What if my son doesn't take care of his sister too? Lomo's getting me worried.
Lomo= When did I do that? I try my best to help my sister!
Jaedong= I think it must be tough to have a brother like Lomo. He's nothing like an older brother.
Lomo= All men from Gyeongsang Do* are like that (laughs).
Jaedong= Men from Gyeongsang Do are really bad. They never express themselves. Why are they like that?
Lomo= Although I am one, I don't like them either (laughs). If I was a girl I think I would be tired of them. They never talk about themselves or show affection.
DES= You two are both from Gyeongsang Do.
Jaedong= We lived in Seoul for a long time (laughs).
Lomo= When people overhear us talk with each other they often mistake it as fighting because we talk in low tones and use strong language (laughs). I think it's because we're from Gyeongsang Do.
Jaedong= But I won't be like that to my wife (laughs).
Lomo= 퍽이나! (I don't know what this means)
◆Canada Story DES= You two went to Canada by yourselves. Tell me about the trip.
Jaedong= It wasn't just us two. I had a friend at Canada who stayed with us.
That's one reallllyyyy wide neck! His source of pro-ness?
Lomo= Well it was just us two on the planes (laughs).
Jaedong= Anyway, it was fun. People always say they want to go back when they come back from trips and I can now understand why. It was fun just walking around the streets without any plans.
Lomo= We stayed at Jaedong's friend's house and thankfully he was talkative (laughs). I guess he wasn't from Gyeongsang Do (laughs). Anyway, I think it was more fun because Jaedong's friend was funny.
Jaedong= I took a picture of Lomo while he was sleeping and he had his eyes open. It was a little funny (laughs).
Lomo= I saw that picture too and I thought it was scary. I was surprised I slept like that, but according to Jaedong, I always sleep like that.
Jaedong= Yeah it's scary watching you sleep (laughs).
Lomo= Truthfully, this trip was scary. I learned that I should study English more.
Jaedong= We stopped at LA on our way to Vancouver. We had to switch planes at LA but since we didn't know much English, our coach even drew us a map of where to go.
I was relieved that we were able to find the plane. I was thinking that we would just get off the plane and our trip would start, but when we got there we waited 30 minutes and our bags still didn't come out. I was starting to get worried.
We waited for an hour and our bags still didn't come out. A employee asked us what was wrong, but we didn't speak English that well. we used our hands and feet to try and explain but he couldn't understand us. I thought we were doomed.
Fortunately, my friend from Canada arrived and he was able to resolve the problem. I thought he looked really cool. Lomo and I agreed to study English once we got back but I don't think it's going to happen (laughs).
Lomo= I still shiver thinking about that moment.
◆About each other DES= Our BFN is coming to an end. Any last word you want to say to each other?
Lomo= I'm sorry for making you carry such a heavy burden all the time. I hope that I will be able to carry some of it in the upcoming season. Also stop exercising your neck. It will get as wide as your face soon. That would be scary.
Also stop bothing me in my bed. Everytime I'm about to fall asleep you come and ask me "Are you sleeping?" I can't sleep because of you!
Jaedong= I wanted to end this on a good note.. but I guess not. Put the lid back on my stuff! And put them back where they belong. Don't go through my things. If you want to wear my clothes, ask me first.
Don't even play a game like the one you played against Kwanro in the last MSL. It's about time you start making achievements.
Lomo= I get it! But isn't our ending too strong? (laughs)
Jaedong= I don't know. I can't blabber on about things even if my life depended on it. Anyway, put things back after you use them!
---This is the end of Jaedong-Lomo BFN. I hope you enjoyed reading!---
Missed first 2 parts and i must say that that overall, that was the best interview i've ever read! Jadeong isn't that sc machine with killer eyes anymore for me, damn, these 2 are so funny.You can surely say they fit to each other well by the flow and type of answers ^^
As someone who has taught English as a second language before, even if Jaedong has good English listening/reading ability, he might not have good speaking/writing ability. Generally, people learning English (or any language) can understand a lot more than they can speak, at first.
Maybe Jaedong can use the Jaedong Fighting card to brush up a bit, haha.
Also, I lol'D at JD lying and Lomo being truthful about what they want in a woman.
Hahaha Jaedong has some creepy bed time habits there. I'm going to buy them a couple of the little English study books we can get in bookstores here. They're pocket-sized so there will be no excuse for not having studied a few words each time!

To answer this - no. However, the way pro-gaming houses are set up (usually) I've only been inside a couple (due to being a girl.) but I've seen the sleeping arrangements. The players live in rooms housing a set number depending upon how many bunk beds are there. Often senior players such a team captains get put into a room with less beds or even a separate room if they're lucky. If the coaches/managers spend a lot of time at the house then they also get beds.

I'm helping him in a small way too. There are no other 'regular' foreign workers in eSports currently who go to live events (on a regular basis.) so I've been conducting his photo shoots with me and any other conversations in English. He's definitely been improving, but he's still pretty self-conscious about speaking using English. I've been trying to devise a plan for a project to give him more confidence about his English. It's on the back burner right now though.

NeverGG, you can start a Progamers-Learn-Goddamn-English-So-You-Can-Read-Messages&Comments-From-Foreign-Fans club and charge them! ;o
Thanks for the translation. All three parts are very entertainming....in various ways, haha.

This explains something that happened around September-October.
I was on US West and I joined a vulture micro game called "Vulture Nightmare".
The host's name was "n.Die_Jaedong" and there were four Korean ID players.
I was in the last slot and I got kicked out after about five seconds. I immediately clicked again and saw that the game had started.

Nope, he still sucks.
On the other hand, it seems that Jaedong kept his promise and his English improved...
