DarkElf and (T)RuBy takes 1st and 2nd place in intra-team evaluation match!

Coach Yoo of ACE told daily e-sports in an interview via phone on the 11th that the new recruits are showing a lot of potential.

After enlisting for the Air Force on May 25th, (T)DarkElf and (T)RuBy began practicing with the team in August.

When the seniors came back after a 14 night 15 day trip, (T)RuBy and (T)DarkElf placed first and second, placing higher than (P)Reach, (P)Anytime, (Z)YellOw, (Z)GoRush, and others.

According to Coach Yoo, (T)DarkElf and (T)RuBy still have their progaming senses and will appear in the 09-10 season coming up in October.

Coach Yoo said, "If (T)DarkElf and (T)RuBy show determination, I think we can place higher than 11th or 12th in the next season"

ACE will be recruiting one more player in September. (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=99831)

Makes sense, the more time you spend in ace the worse you get.

The ACE coach has always seemed so underachieving to me
I'll never forget how deliriously happy he always seemed when boxer won a game
Poor ACE players.

Both the above comments are pretty much universal truth...

I myself just hope all these ACE players could get back in their careers as they are done with their military service...

Uh, good news I suppose. Being the best on ACE is like getting good marks on a vision test.

They just look better compared to their ACE teammates than their former teammates.

Can't wait to see Ruby in action again. I'm really hoping he continues his career in ACE like players such as Oversky have, and returns to a solid team afterward. He's still really young, after all.

I expected RuBy to be the best player on ACE when he joined, but DarkElf is a bit of a surprise. As long as XellOs still gets a good amount of playing time it's all good in my book.

Sweet. Sadly, ACE needs anything they can get. Hopefully they start performing a little better now.

Thanks for the translation.

As gamers age, ACE's talent pool will grow in size and strength, and the team will improve drastically. This is good news for their competitiveness in the upcoming PL season, especially because their Terran lineup was a bit lacking in the 08-09 PL.

This is going to be the greatest year if ACE can finish in a spot other than 12th

Anytime is debatable, but Reach and YellOw have definitely improved since they joined ACE imo. Those two were performing soooo poorly before they were recruited it's hard to argue they could have possibly gotten worse.

well I don't think they are performing better. yeah they still win games here and there but they all mostly just loses. it's fun to see them get some playtime tho.
