It does seem they are trying to make it a little tougher for Zergs and maybe even Protoss. Maybe they are trying to give Terran the next round of domination...again... | ||

It might work well for mech and thus make that somewhat irrelevant, but I can't judge that. Acro might see lots of muta harrass too, but I guess the natural/choke layout sucks for zerg. 2 hatch on Judgement Day doesn't seem like a good idea. | ||

Actually, carrier maps are usually good TvP maps. Because any map that's good for carriers is horrible for the protoss ground army to try to flank the terran ball. Going carriers really is incredibly risky for the protoss, regardless of maps(maybe Katrina notwithstanding), because of the HUGE timing window for the terran to push.
