Glocks in my opinion are one of the best handguns ever made. They are literally the Kalashnikov of the pistol world. You can throw dust inside of it and it'll still shoot. You even shoot it underwater. Hard to believe Glock started out making window shutters.
I have shot the G17 (9mm), the G21(.45 ACP), and the G22(.40 S&W). All of them are superb in accuracy and reliability but the 17 i really don't like because of the 9mm. I know that if you take a 9 to the face, you'll be dead but most people tend to aim center mass, and in that situation a 9 just doesn't cut it like the others. However, Glock had designed and made the model 18, which is just like 17 but can go full auto. You've probably seen it before, its the gun the Joker uses in the Dark Knight during the bank robbery. Of course i'd love to get my hands on that but its very rare and highly illegal in the peoples republic of california. I'll stick to what i can find.
I plan on trying to get one in .45 (no i don't directly own one yet), preferably the G30 Short Frame.
The only downside i can see with a Glock is that it has no external safety. Now when it comes to guns, im used to having a safety feature right where i can see it. The Glock however only has internal safeties: the trigger, drop, and firing pin. I don't know they work so do not ask. All i know is if you see the trigger, theres a smaller trigger within it. That's the safety. I was really paranoid about the Glock when i first shot it. I kept thinking that it would go off or i'd shoot myself. I guess theres an upside to it: you don't have to worry about the safety when drawing.
Anyways, heres some Glocks for the community.
the G18 type used in Dark Knight.
the G17 with an Olive Drab frame
the G21 Short frame
and the G39 in .45 GAP (Glock Action Pistol)
The .45 GAP is a weird round. Its similar to the .45 ACP but shorter by a smidgen. In my opinion, Glock made the round to capitalize on their latest guns. I'm not an expert on the bullet so don't expect an entire review on it.

Part of that was because the crouching/jumping hitboxes are so messed in source so USP is considerably weaker.

According to 'Leprechaun 6: Back 2 the Tha Hood', Glocks always jam.
After reading your blog I am now torn between which to believe.

Lol My friend and I tested on Awp map with each of us in 1 corner and we shoot at each other with a glock. I think I remember it took 34 hits to kill me.

This is not a Counter Strike post. Those who make their gun reviews on a fucking game are dumbasses.

My brother-in-law has the G39 and I found it sexy, but so are pretty much all glocks out there. I've always liked them :-)

Uh.... comments like this are why I think the majority of people shouldn't be allowed to own guns.

personally I think they are pieces of shit. plastic sux. give me a fucking .44 magnum revolver I'll blow your face off with it.

Having shot both the Glock and the USP Tactical, I can tell you that they're in completely different classes. The USP is far superior in terms of accuracy and reliability. It has never jammed. That being said, it's not really fair to compare the two because the USP was designed for strenuous military and tactical use and costs about twice as much as a Glock.

He's right. If you can afford it, get a USP Tactical, they're just superior in pretty much every aspect. They sell for around 1500 USD, I guess.

im going to go out on a limb and say that most people get a lot more use out of a counterstrike gun than a real life one

I feel kinda stupid for asking the OP but if guns use gunpowder, how can you shoot it underwater?
Just curious.

its not a stupid question. Modern bullets are self-contained, which means that the gunpowder is sealed inside the shell casing with the bullet and primer. To shoot underwater, the shooter must install maritime spring cups within the Glock 17, this slows down the firing pin. If not installed, then you might get one shot off before the firing pin assembly shatters. Anyways, Glock says their guns aren't meant to shoot underwater but are meant for military guys who came out of the ocean or a lake. BIG NOTE: only a Glock 17 maritime model can be fired underwater. The other models cannot fire underwater or else the gun will literally explode and cause massive hearing damage whether or not you are submerged with the gun. So i don't recommend shooting any gun, Glock or not, underwater. Any gun owner would probably tell you the same.

lighten the fuck up

Bud's gun shop (online retailer) always has great deals on them.
Right now, they have 45. USP tac's for a bit over 1k.
I'm feeling like a Heckler salesman, but you can't beat the quality for the money, IMO. The SD40 and 45 are excellent for the money (about half the price tag of the H and K), but if you're more demanding, H and K makes an excellent pistol.
Maybe, someday, Germans will be able to enjoy these quality handguns that their nation has produced.

I already do appreciate it, to say the least. I have a P08 myself and I love this gun so much.
