and got my first shaving with it... my face feel kinda sore.. i got a few knicks but i feel like a real men..
sooooo... anyone have experience with a straight razor? any advices? anyone feel like sharing his first experience?

If you like it, keep doing it, that's awesome, it's cool to shave with I guess, some people get really nervous when going up the neck with it though, haha. | ||

I've been wanting to get into this since I saw a video tutorial on it about a year ago, but it just seems like a big up-front investment to make (the right razor, cream, brush, etc.). When I'm older and have more disposable income (and a heavier beard, I'm a seriously un-hairy person so I shave only every 2-3 days) it's something I'll try out. Good luck! | ||

so i got talked out of learning to shave by a middle eastern barber. mr lee was his cohort who, as it turned out, did give me the best shave of my life. i didnt have stubble for like 2 days after. | ||

Somehow, she started going on about how it's illegal here in the states to shave a customer with a straight razor unless you've already been doing it for years and years. Anybody else heard that? My buddies and I just sort of laughed and moved on. | ||
