that is so cool

By the way, if the first game was a rush, it was a retarded rush, no offense. It was like a two-zealot rush against a wall-in or something. I mean what was that Knight planning to do? Then of course he decided to lift the barracks just as your archon arrived...

you're probably not around anymore, but if you are, just go there and put in your name. Then we can start a game.

Ouch. Moved his f and g pawn in the opening. After 11. Ne3, rybka's evaluation drops to -4.

All they have are simple phrases that have to be used as double entendres. For instance, "Good move," for when your opponent makes a particularly bad one, or "How are you?" if you obtain an advantage and wish to rub it in.

If you pay for a membership, you get to talk. It's fun to play free-play players and taunt talk to them.

GG, Incognitodies. You were winning for most of it.

I was looking for a link to the replay, but I guess only paying members can do that.

gg... yah I threw it away pretty comprehensively =(

Well actually my play was a bit suspect throughout, I didn't really have a plan I just made moves and hoped really... ended up turning out ok but I didn't exactly pressure your opening to say the least.

You can replay without paying, and also analyse the games using crafty. Click on "Analyze" or just view the PGN clicking on "Game." You just have to do it before you start a new game.

Beware it's an old crafty engine and they don't let it look beyond depth 7 or something, so it's often wrong.

No, I was looking for a way to post a link to the replay like Rus_Brain did. Oh, well, couldn't find one, but at least the replay files for the game of chess are fairly small. This was the game in text form (the Elos are estimates).

It's the opposite, I think: you chose the opening (as White) and I failed dismally to pressure it in any way shape or form. I don't see the English opening too often. Obviously it was a pretty stupid strategic decision to make my first two moves c5 and h5, opening me up on both flanks (one would have been OK), but like you, I was just playing one move at a time. The first move, I was like "ok, i can do that too", and the second move was you triggering a reflex.

When I'm White, and Black's first move is g7, I often try to punish that with h4. Sure, it's aggressive, but it's not such a bad move IMO. As Black, and after I had played c5...yeah, bad idea.

I just took a look at the game. White's opening is sooooooooooooo bad it's not even funny. Seriously, what kind of noob play 5. f3 after 4. g3?

Other than that, funny game. I like the knight sac at d4.

LOL @ the elo.
