Alright, I'll lay down the summary. My buddy from ecuador is very clever and a fast learner. He has previous experience from WC3, but has never played SC. He has alot of potential, but he's still very bad compared to my other friends. I want him to beat a certain person who I will specify down below. What methods should I take to train him? We aren't talking about even reaching D ICCup level here so bear with me.
My other friend is, in short, a cocky mo-fo. He knows the units and tech as well as I and has had it since it came out. He plays C&C and WoW alot, but hates to lose. For him, turtling is fun, and a slow 30 tank push with turrets is fun (terran obv). I wipe the floor with him everytime, and he pisses himself, and i love it. He once blamed his loss on his 2 scvs getting stuck behind a gas on a FMP. But I want Mr. Ecuador, whom is constantly called "U FUCKING SUCK" by the WoWfag, to destroy him. He likes terran alot, and his marine micro is baller. Hes currently going through the campaign, and learning how to macro quickly facing computers.
It would be cool to have him at this level by the end of the winter so any suggestions?

he plays WoW, C&C and FMP? Just train your friends normally and hed be way better than the other kid before the end of the year easy.

Why are you friends with cocky fag

Teach him the power of the cheese.

What the fuck is with everyone saying baller today?

Have him play protoss.
Problem solved.

get him to watch boxer replays. ninja proxy FTW!!
Oh wait, FMP? hmm... that could be interesting...
If he goes tanks, go BCs/carriers/guardians and force him to change tactics. He'll probably just go goliaths, so figure out something to counter those.
My friend once used a sick combo of BC/tank/marine on me. it worked out pretty well for him. it's also good because it's one unit from each production building, and it can handle pretty much anything. try it?

Just mass ICCUP for the win, then hes got him in a pot of ownage

Make Nada take him as an apprentice.

As many have suggested, just unleash the cheese.

you could convince him that the only way to play SC is to train like Artosis was explaining in his thread a while ago. Then he would be hella pro.

1. Play protoss 2. Learn to cheese 3. ????? 4. Profit It's as simple as that :D

give him standard build orders practice those build orders with him over and over give him reps for him to study ICCUP Show him progamer matches Have him practice macro and stuff
If he plays consistently with good practice partners and an aim to get better, he should be able to bust out in no time

lol, my friends did this to me with CS before, went from total noob to boom headshot in 4 months... then I stopped playing for a year and went back to total noob.
Practices. Lots of it. Against people of greater skill level. Consistency is key. Don't choke when the time comes to own.

Tell him to start with protoss. He should learn to use reaver and to macro ( easy as p ) then with a bit of practise he will beat the WoW guy.
Teach him basics build orders: - 2 gate range goon + reaver or expo - 1 gate + obs expo - 3 gate ranged goon ( kinda all-in )

If you guys are playing on bnet... FAGboy won't know if it is him or not. Just PM Sea[SHIELD] and ask if he can do you a favor. I'll translate if you need me to.
