In general I have to say the german top players didn't leave me a good impression. It felt like whenever you give them advice they will try to capitalize on it without giving much back and some of them are very sneaky and untrustworthy. One I really respect and stands out from others is Darkforce. That guy is so honest that I can't help but feel appreciation towards him. Xlord is really funny, but even though I met him a lot I can't say I know much of him, he seems a really reserved person when it comes to private matters.
Do you think they ganged up against you in particular or that they do this in general and with each other as well? My impression of the German scene is that they are very tightly-knit and share more stuff than usual even across clan borders. But also at the same time that they capitalize on knowledge of opponent's playstyles, withhold "special tactics" and mindgame each other hard for the EPS.
And, a long time ago (1~2 years ago) I think the impression of German players was that you are too stubborn/too much set in your ways to take advice.

Xlord is really funny, but even though I met him a lot I can't say I know much of him, he seems a really reserved person when it comes to private matters. I will switch to Protoss for two reasons. First I think Protoss is extremely easy to play in WoL and this won't change in HotS. Second is the distorted way David Kim talks about balance when he releases interviews. He said that it was ok for Zerg to be dominant for some months since Terran was the best in Korea at the beginning, and now that we had a complete Zerg dominance in the past year they will most likely focus on Protoss more. I garantuee you you will fail as protoss for a long time because of 2 reasons (im midgm btw): 1. Different production cycles, you're used to being able to queue units whenever you like, now you will have to learn to warpin exactly when your production cycle has just finished. 2. Forcefields, they actually take skill, and before you're any good with them you will be losing nonstop. But I love you anyways, your casting has always been simply awesome. I shouldn't answer to this but I can't help myself. They are just used to not trust each other and only help in a way it can be convenient to them. The older guys are just very sneaky even among themselves and I got the impression some of them would sell their mom to win EPS. I honestly don't regard any of these players high enough to accept an opinion blindly without a valid reason like I would do with MVP or Flash, and whenever I confronted my reasons with their reasons they would call me stubborn without even ending the conversation. I like the newer players though, I kinda liked DBS but he retired now, and HeroMarine has a cool playstyle and lots of potential, and so far I never had any "problem" with them.

Switching from Terran to Protoss is going to be very easy. All you need is the patience to get PvP and PvZ but the mechanics you learned playing Terran will stay there and help you be a way better player than anyone who started as Protoss.

That sort of misconception seems to be common in people who have trouble accepting that people can be genuinely different. So if a ...lets call it "difficult" character like him encounters someone genuinly likeable he concludes that person must be a big faker and privately a huge dick.

It sounds to me like you're underestimating Carlo greatly. He's probably spent quite a bit of time with some of these people given the amount of events he goes to, especially with the german pros. A lot of people put up a facade. The amount of actually honest people is slim.

TLO: the most fake guy in the scene. He never did anything to me but I disrespect him so much because I know a couple stories that would never make me feel anything close to respect for him as a person. He is also extremely arrogant in real life and disliked by most people. Again I have no real grudge against him and he really did nothing to me but these kind of fake people are the ones I detest the most. He's not the only one though, there's some others who are like this.
why am i not surprised ? ^^
awesome story though. i wish you the best luck in the future !
p.s.: if you tell one of those stories about TLo im willing to pay money )))))))))

I like you Cloud. Can't blame you for switching to protoss in the expansion, thinking of doing the same.

Some of the bonds I've made in the past 2 years will last forever and no person will ever be able to dent my inner confidence again. I've gotten something so important in the past 2 years that no amount of money would ever have been able to buy me.
I like this part the best because this is very true. No amount of money can replace this.
Also, continue streaming, I am one of those people who watch your stream
