I can't remember where I saw that but it was someone like Khaldor or Wolf who said it.

I hope you find a new team soon. Can you give us some insight into the german scene and the german players (goody, socke, TLO, Hasuobs, xlord, delpi etc)? Why did you decide to switch to protoss (and not to Zerg e.g.)? Because of your bw protoss background? If you look at the balance, it looks like protoss was most of the time underpowered. http://aligulac.com/periods/If it keeps that way Zerg would be the best option. In general I have to say the german top players didn't leave me a good impression. It felt like whenever you give them advice they will try to capitalize on it without giving much back and some of them are very sneaky and untrustworthy. One I really respect and stands out from others is Darkforce. That guy is so honest that I can't help but feel appreciation towards him. Xlord is really funny, but even though I met him a lot I can't say I know much of him, he seems a really reserved person when it comes to private matters. I will switch to Protoss for two reasons. First I think Protoss is extremely easy to play in WoL and this won't change in HotS. Second is the distorted way David Kim talks about balance when he releases interviews. He said that it was ok for Zerg to be dominant for some months since Terran was the best in Korea at the beginning, and now that we had a complete Zerg dominance in the past year they will most likely focus on Protoss more. Wanted to correct your last statement. It was only the last 6 months (starting in may) that zerg dominance really began. Hasn't been a year but half that so far ^_^ Closer to three quarters of a year now, his point still stands. Also pre queen buff zergs was doing alright, not even close to as poorly as terran has been doing the last 8 months.

Wow incredible, just reading the comments convinced me that honesty is frowned upon here... Anyways really good read, i enjoyed it.

Really gay that this got un spotlighted. It was a great read. Keep making awesome blogs Cloud!

Well TL mods probably didn't like the things that were said about TLO so they unspolighted a bit lame. Good blog man but I can't forgive you for what you did to that Chinese girl in the other blog

Clouds statement is more of a general statement. While i have no clue how it is with MVP in specific, there are probably some exceptions.
I often wonder why it is so frowned about to say anything negative about other people in eSports, but on the other hand, unreasonable hyping and making people look way better than they are is perfectly ok. I dont like that tbh.

If David Kim and Cloud worked together tvz would be balanced.

Because he defamed TLO.
Not surprised at all, at least they didn't censor him.
EDIT: I wish he went the whole way and spilled what he's heard about TLO.

I will be more than happy to answer.
I know you already talked about the German pros in general, but I'd still like your view on Hasu.
Also more TLO (give me something that further justifies my dislike ), Naniwa, Stephano, Lucifron. And maybe a few casters? dApollo, Artosis, Khaldor?

Very sad that such a great blog gets unfeatured.
@ Cloud
It would be cool, if you could talk a little bit about a tournament expirience, how everything happens from your point of view, like a diary of a normally/specific turney

Oh, I dunno... maybe because it causes drama and a negative environment for absolutely no reason. Oh, also because it's completely unsubstantiated and therefore simple rumor-mongering. Oh... lastly, it's unkind and dehumanizing to simply call someone a bad person / have no respect for then.

Go read TMZ.

Ho boy, knew the drama would be unleashed once Cloud make that comment about TLO. AFAIK, the only reason ever given for Cloud's disrespect of TLO is that, in Cloud's opinion, TLO switches races to what Cloud views as the imba race at the time. Personally, I think this is unfair given TLO's previous record as random, which gives him greater plasticity in switching to a race that he deems optimal, and let's be real, players do what they do to win, most players would jump at the chance to switch to a stronger race if they could, but really don't because they're secretly afraid/know that they could be wrong in that race being stronger/might not have the adaptability to become as good with a new race.

That doesn't make sense at all. Cloud will switch to Protoss in Heart of the Swarm, because he thinks he will be more successful playing Protoss. Why would he dislike TLO for the same reason?

did you ever stop and think that maybe you could have written this post without the obnoxious "Oh..." 's ?
Here, let me help you:
+ Show Spoiler +Well, I believe it causes drama and a negative environment for no reason The way he put it makes it seem completely unsubstantiated and therefore it's simple rumor-mongering. Lastly, it's unkind and dehumanizing to simply call someone a bad person, or to say you have no respect for them
