What party do you think corresponds well with which race inside the StarCraft world?

Personally, I consider Protoss as right wing, Terran as left wing, and Zerg as Radical Socialism.

I made this thread to foster discussion, so I'm not going to explain my answers yet, but go ahead. Besides, I gotta take a crap and then study for Chemistry.

The Protoss basically seem like a religious monarchy. The Zerg simply don't fit into politics; they're more like insects in the way they "swarm". Trying to impose a political organisation to them doesn't work. And the Terran Dominion seems like a military dictatorship with a free market economy.

Insect colonies are probably the most organized things in nature. Radical expansionist socialism, also known as the Soviet Union, fits them pretty well. The Terran are an empire ruled by Mengsk, so they would be just that - imperialist, or as you said, military dictatorship. Protoss are conservative to the point of being reactionary; I mean, they buried Colossi underground and decommissioned motherships because they were deemed "too destructive."

All of them are fascist, which is probably useful for a never ending galaxy wide war.

Look at the Zerg brood, a species of blind mindless adherence to the collective mobilized for war, look at the state controlled propaganda of Mengst, look at the religious ultra-nationalism of the Protoss who regard any other species as "defiling" their land. All Fascist.

To be more precise though, all collectivist, which is to say nearly the same thing. We could call the protoss a theocracy for example...
