I found this post and thought it was pretty interesting. Enjoy!

OMFG.. this has to be the biggest mindfuck question I have ever been asked.
Lets break it down..
First of all the real question comes down to the choice between a,b vs c.. I seriously don’t know if I could say no to the opportunity of getting SUPERPOWERS even if it meant no world peace.. Yea i’m an asshole.. I hope I would choose c) but I’m not sure..
My mind would probably come up with sneaky ways to justify choosing a or b like “with powers like that I could create world peace“ which maybe would be bull..
Could you say 100% that you would choose c) ??
Okay so back to the interesting choice. B OR A!
A’s advantages Being a Jedi.. Do I need to say more? probably the biggest dream come true. You got the powers to:
-Put thoughts into the mind of week individuals! Just think about the possibilities right there! You could be the most powerful person on the planet having whatever you wanted. Depending on your power levels you could stop all wars right there!
- Knowledge about the Force! You could know if bad thinks were happening (like Yoda in Revenge of the Sith) and be in harmony with the universe.
- Incredible sword fighting skills! This part combined with the other ones would make you almost unkillable. And is just really cool..
- Levitation skills! BOOM.. nothing more to say..
- A lightsaber! Again.. incredible cool!.. Guns would be useless against you since you could just use the lightsaber to melt the projectiles before they hit you (remember you got strong knowledge of the force!)
B’s advantages Wolverine.. My favorite superhero in the marvel universe. A real badass over here guys!
- Superhuman strength! Pretty awesome in most fighting situations. Also just very handy in everyday life.
- Adamantium skeleton! Adamantium being the hardest metal in the universe and the fact that it encloses his whole skeleton makes him even more durable.
- Almost immortal! With his mutation being crazy regeneration skills, whenever he gets hurt his body just repair itself in a couple of seconds. There have been speculations that the only way to kill him would be by removing his head from the body. Combined with his metal skeleton he is pretty much immortal.
-Adamantium Claws! Multiple knifes coming out of your knuckles! This makes him the perfect fighting machine.
After thinking about it the choice in my case is pretty easy.. I have to go with A. One thing is the great physical powers of wolverine but the mental powers of the jedi is just to tempting to me.
Nonetheless in as straight up fight I would probably give the edge to wolverine unless the Jedi was a great master like master Yoda or mace Windu which you can’t depend on since this is not included in the original question. Another important variable would be if the lightsaber could cut through adamantium. I would probably go for yes since I have never seen anything strong enough to resist the power of a lightsaber (other then another lightsaber lol).
Still I think wolverine has superior fighting skills compared to most Jedis and would just need to get close to them and cut them up where if the jedi got a lucky strike in on wolverine he would just regenerate.
Ok enough geek thoughts for now
What would you choose? post a comment!

Jedi, no questions asked.

Jedi. Wolverine has psych. issues and being a Jedi has charming qualities.
|
I actually think having my bones replaced by some metal and huge claws coming out of my skin is disgusting. I would not want that for free.
Reminds me of the freaks they show on talk shows that had some strange surgery done to them.
|
Wolverine gets to live for a long time You can jump really high as a jedi though.
|
|
World peace.
I LOVE YOU ALL
|
LOL what? I don't even...
...but seriously, Jedi. The world in which they live gives them powers that make them inherently able to buttrape people like wolverine and whatnot.
|
im not badass enough to pull off being wolverine
|
Wolverine, world peace would be boring and counter productive. Owning a light saber means you can lose it. Wolverine can also regenerate really fast, which is cool...
|
There is only one answer to this dilemma. Batman.
|
jedi would destroy wolverine pretty bad.... and im a wolvie fan.
|
Wolverine bro wtf is this jedi crap. Oh you chop my limb of lol no adamantiuim skeleton and the flesh regrowths virtually instantly. Oh what was that I'm never going to die because my healing factor keeps me young? So I have as long as I want to do whatever I want? sweet. No I can't manipulate people but I have enough time to become Vandal Savage so... Wolverine easily.
EDIT: Are we counting wolverines resistance to psychic fuck-with-ery as his power the "psychic scars" and shield put in by prof. X?

This man is made of win.

So many violent people here Just choose world peace
|
Jedi = world peace by killing the dark force Jedi > wolverine
are you serious? these are consensual
|
Wolverine no doubt. Jedi is garbage. Would consider Sith Lord
|
Wolverine no choice, The dude will almost live forever, He has been burnt down to just the smallest piece of DNA and regenerated to full form, Of course he feels the pain but the only way to kill the dude would be to lob him into the sun or a volcano or something crazy like that. Magneto even ripped off his Adamantium and he still lived.
Being a Jedi with a light saber would be pretty sweet having all the force powers but jedi are kind of way to purest for me I would end up going darkside and melting my face fighting Samuel L Jackson.
World peace is cool, but ya know that is just to fictional.

what would u do with Wolwerine's powers? Cut vegetables? With Jedi powers u could become the richest/ most influential/ whateveruwant in our real world
|
Thing is wolverine is immortal too

Wolverine no doubt! Who cares about a silly lightsaber?
|
World Peace is a joke. You take World Peace and my extraterrestrial Death Star blows your planet into pieces. Even if we assume that World Peace also means no corruption, poverty etc etc.
Wolverine also is a bad choice. Even if he outlasts a Jedi - which I doubt considering he's only living on earth (though I dont know the universe enough to really know how much aliens they have - please feel free to educate me). But a Jedi is also immortal. Even if his body dies his spirit is capable of possessing other beings. And hey - having the body of the Wolverin after possessing him isnt too shabby I'd wager.

To believe that true world peace is an attainable goal or one that will last is pretty silly to be honest. How can a society be perfect if the building blocks (people) are flawed by nature (and that is not subject to change)? It would be a facade peace at best, and even then just for a short period of time.
Obviously, Jedi powers. Even without the lightsaber, I'd pick that.
|
I would take the jedi powers and become Sith!
|
Wolverine because in addition to being a badass you age at a ridiculously slow rate. I'll take a few extra centuries of youth anyday.

Right, there are really only two ways to create total world peace. Sort of drawing from Madison in Fed. 10, you would either have to eliminate liberty completely, or have everybody believe the same. This is just inherently impossible and would be something of a dystopia.

Can't light sabers cut anything? If so then a Jedi would destroy wolverine because he could just use the force on him
|
Can you use the force to force away the ageing process? 'Cause if not I'd choose Wolverine.
|
remember that if you are a jedi you have to live by the jedi code... that means no wife, no children and no SEX!

I main point Wolverine in UMvC3 so i choose him
|
I would choose Wolverine, EASY.
Relevant to this discussion: http://what-if.xkcd.com/3/
With that research in mind, it shows how weak the Jedi powers really are relative to how powerful wolverine is.
The only real upside to choosing Jedi is the ability to control the weak-minded. But I think the healing and reduced aging more than make up for that.
Also worth noting that no mere lightsaber slash would kill wolverine like it would a Jedi.
|
Wolverine, I would walk around the shadiest parts of town, all night every night for the luls and it would be marvelous and I can live forever, like holy shit dude, join the army and have fun, or just be the ultimate troll when out at night and get into fights
|
Jedi erryday
Seriously, jedi would wreck wolverine. And if the world paid for it, I would make peace. For a Joker-style demand of "...Half."
|
|
Being a jedi might be awesome for a few decades but being wolverine you can be awesome for centuries.
|
Definitly Wolverine. Just get a minigun, Wolverine doesn't die to bullets fellas, jedis do. World peace would never happen unless you killed everybody... so (c) is obviously the worst choice, you know, exterminating humanity...
|
I'd choose Wolverine, he's practically immortal.
Peace is good but I don't think humanity as whole will really advance if there is no war at ll, life will be boring without conflict and tragedy.
|
You realize if you had world peace, you wouldn't need the other two?
|

c
I'm too lazy to be saving the world by using the powers obtained by a or b.
|
hm would probably have to go with jedi.. Just thinking about the implications with the existence of the force is to cool. But agree that wolverine would manhandle an average jedi
|
|
Everyone being ruled by a single tyrannical being is a form of peace. Everyone being dead is too, technically. Everyone imagines world peace as love and harmony and everyone getting along. Maybe that's only because they're all drugged and lack any free will anymore.
Jedi for the awesome.
