i guess no one read the part where i said "the game is balanced" but lets talk about that lesson i said you could draw from lesson 3. insead of thinking of SC2 as an election, you can think of an SC2 game as a string of actions and reactions or as i like to put it, a string of decisions.

lesson #3 Best Responses

as i stated in lesson 1, sometimes at very high levels of play, you will be in a game, and both players will be using dominating strategies. Sometimes you will both be using the same race. Sometimes you will be facing a player with the same level of mechanics. And what these games will eventually boil down to, is who has the "Best Responses". i like to call it, who makes the best decisions.
When working on a build, you not only have to think about what you want to do as the game progresses, but you must also put yourselves in the other players shoes, think of what is a dominating strategy for him, and then try to decide what are your "best responses". A lot of times i think this will happen in game, and you will be forced to make snap decisions in response to your opponent, but it is best to think about these responses long before the problem ever comes into play.
i.e. If my opponent goes for mutas, i can
i.e. if my opponent goes for DTs, i can
i.e. if my opponent is on 1 base, i can
and then after you have gone over all the possible responses, you can test then out and tweek them in practice or read up on a few builds and strategies, and decide what would be the best response. Hopefully while in game, if your opponent goes for mutas, and you scout a spire or a muta, you will not have to freak out and make a quick snap decision about how to respond. AND if you have read lessons 1 and 2 you will have a plan of action which puts you ahead, if he goes for all out ling muta play, or if he just uses a few mutas for harass and decides to tech switch into something else.

One thing to keep in mind, is that a best response is not the same as a dominating strategy. A dominating strategy should be a gameplan that you think has the best odds of winning, this should already delete any and all responses that you should NEVER make, because it would not help your strategy and it should include a string of Best responses, for any kind of in game shinanigans that you may run into.
i.e. if your opponent goes for mutas, you should not go for mass banshee.
Best responses are all the little tweeks and moves that put you just a little farther ahead, or that you make in response to a players strategy choice.
i.e. if you are going for big warpgate play and your aponent goes mutas, you might want to throw down a fast blink, or warp in extra stalkers.
this would be the best response because
you already have a good number of warp gates
you can use the twilight for ups and for templar (also a gateway unit)
it is still part of your warp gate strategy, but also a direct response to your opponents muta strategy

Can lesson #4 be about using capital letters, formatting text for readability and checking for errors before you hit the "Post" button?

No, but you should make a blog thats says "I QQ and you can too," or something like "My huge IQQ." This blog is not unreadable, sure he doesn't put as much effort into it as some bloggers (king charlie XD or FuddX), but he is definitely not bridging on unreadable at all.
