glad you're having fun but lol
reminds me of before I played ranked. huge skill gap between even non-ranked players and 1200 elo. I'm only 1300 elo but the other day I went back to normal because riot took down ranked, went 5x tiamat on corki and raped.
good manner from both teams!

Some of the comments, though not very good-manner are correct, we aren't extremely high-elo players. Only 2 of us on that team were lvl 30 (Me and Ishikalin), and we haven't been playing ranked very long. We play ranked whenever our non-lvl 30 friends aren't on...so duo queue...which is usually WORSE than normals...
So, haven't had much luch on Ranked yet. We've carried a few games, TRIED to carry a few games, and failed at a few games..which amounts to a lot of losses and a few unsatisfying wins in ranked so far.
If anyone can link one of these brakdowns of why Tiamat is bad, I'd appreciate. So far all the "this is why Tiamat is bad" posts haven't said anything I don't know...but they haven't disputed anything I've said either. I think the enemy team building those Tiamats was stupid as hell, but I think Tiamat can be good in a HIGHLY situational way.
One character I've tried Tiamat on that worked like crazy was Tristana. Any time she kills a minion (or champ) it explodes, and with Tiamat, you can drop several minions at once, which causes chain explosions, and can wipe a whole creep wave in 2-3 shots without skills. Also, if a player happens to be near creeps, the damage stacks up super quick.
This might just me be remembering things better than they were, but about a week or two into the game, Tristana was the second character I'd tried and I got a quadra or a penta (forget which) with her like that. Enemy team was pushing up a creep wave, we engaged in a team fight, a couple shots in the creeps started exploding and 6x explosion damage +shot damage +splash +more explosions & splash from champs dying...everyone was dead.
Obviously though, that's like a once-in-forever situation, and I'm not arguing that makes Tiamat good...

is it awkward on skype when no one is talking and you hear people breathing i hate that

That's why you use mumble. I think people hate it when I curse under my breath for missing cs.

How did that take 41 minutes to finish? Come on bro

Their team was actually pretty coordinated and defended towers well. Also, once we got to like 2x their kill score, we kinda starting f'ing around a bit, since their defense was pretty good. Just getting more fed to break them basically.

This is an illusion created by the ranking system, even normals have a rank, they just dont show it to you (you used to be able to see it by looking in game files).
So after playing a bunch of normals and getting 30, you play ranked for a while, get better, then go back to normals and just roflstomp because you are better now and are still playing at your old unranked ELO. If you play some more normals your unranked ELO will stabilize and come in line with ranked skillwise...obviously with terrible teamcomps and no communication.
Its like a SC2 player starting out 1v1 in bronze league, playing 2v2's all the way up to diamond, and then going to play some 1v1's again. They stomp face and say clearly there is a huge skill gap between 1v1 and 2v2 players.

I don't know if you're trying to argue that Normal and Ranked have similar skill levels because they don't.
You can play thousands of games in Normal and never get better, in many aspects that matter (mechanics, map control/awareness, etc.).

I'm pretty sure you can play a million of any game type and not get any better if you don't try to.
