My point still largely stands though, not crazy difference between not smoking for two weeks and two months, if you relapse 6 months later. OP's achievement is a big step since most people who try to quit don't make it that far (i must've quit hundreds of times before I even had a chance to relapse

Also if you have buddies that are trying to quit I'd hide those numbers from them, at least early on. It would be discouraging to know that they achieved very little in the first 2-3 weeks, as having that stepping stone and sense of accomplishment can be really important. If someone told me on day 15 that I accomplished very little and have 60-90% chance of relapsing I'd probably lite a cigarette out of anger and fear that I will start again!
