now you keep teasing me with keys and i had to play there again. weirdly enough the cpts there want you to play trilane most of the time. in addition its very frustrating to play support in public games. help! | ||

As silly as it sounds have have been having trouble seeing differences between Dota, LoL, and HoN and this showed that the games fundamentals are the same but with several KEY differences. It is these differences why I can finaly understand some of Dota's popularity in comparison to other similar games and I will now be checking out the game upon it's release for sure. | ||

Could someone explain the key differences between the LoL jungle and the dota one? I'd be really interested since it's a mechanic that I like quite a lot in LoL | ||

And you should definitely mention the possibility of having for example an earthshaker or a sand king just roaming and hardly laning at all to set up kills all over the map, though I guess this is most common when running a trilane, but definitely not the only way to do it. Oh and cheese doesn't instantly restore full health/mana, it's like 2000 or 3000 hp (cant remember) and slightly less mana if I recall correctly. Not wanting to nitpick or anything, but it's worth mentioning! | ||

I've never played a moba and intend for Dota2 to be my first (no matter how nervous I can get about a hostile community =p), so I've been religiously reading and taking notes from this blog series haha =) thank you. | ||

In HoN people often block the creep pull by putting the ward in the forest next to the creep camp such that it is blocked and the ward cannot be counter warded, does this work/ is this done in DotA as well? | ||

I played some Amumu, but from some very obvious and easy to understand perspectives are that stacking makes a big difference. Pulling makes a big difference too because you can kind of sustain your jungle stay longer. That all the creepspawns doesn't have one set of creeps, but different creeps can spawn there and some creeps are harder for some heroes than others. Also there's no Smite ability and there aren't a power-up like blue and red. | ||
