EPTFirst of all I must give credit where credit is due; it was AzurewinD that first stumbled upon what appears to be the biggest conspiracy in the world of starcraft ever known to netizens. It was in this thread, where we could witness a group of prominent names in the sc community gathered on a horse ride, that this great mystery started to unfold.
So from where and when does the strange connection between competetive starcraft and this particular hooved mammal of the Equidae family derive? Well, one thing we know for certain, teamliquid had a horse banner as early as 2000-2001. This leads me to believe that teamliquid may have been the origin of THE EQUESTRIANATI conspiracy... Wait a minute. Team liquid.. Equidae. Here it all starts to get eerie, let's take a closer look. And while we're at it, did it ever strike anyone as odd that a starcraft website would have a horse in all of it's banners?

The evidence is quite clear. Of course, this leads to the inevitable question of what exactly are the equestrianati doing during these gatherings behind closed doors? One thing is clear, and that is that as of yet I do not know, and that in itself is evidence that they probably don't want us to find out. What are you hiding there equestrianati?
We got another small glimpse of the fascination with horses in one of the SOTG episodes, but I fear there is a whole lot more burried within the confides of this powerful group of people's minds.
Upon going over my documents before posting this I ran across another shocking connection, that leads me to believe blizzard may very well have been in on the conspiracy from the very beginning. Whether it is so, we may never know.
