Comic Relief--first ladder game after three months

Loser777 1931 Posts January 07 2011 07:08 GMT #1 Due to school, apps, and running Brood War LANs among other things, I haven't been active in SC2 much at all. I played some custom games occasionally to make sure I didn't forget my fundamentals, but I pretty much don't know any standard builds/openings beyond the ~5 minute mark. Anyhow, the first game I played was rather amusing. I had only played LT/Xel'Naga Caverns, so when I saw Blistering Sands as the map I was like oh--shiii totally forgot. To be safe I planted my first depot by the rocks and... As I gleefully shut down his proxy gates he messaged something to the effect of "darn this has never failed on this map before" to which I responded "I haven't played a ladder game in three months" He was 2400 Diamond. haha
