Has anyone else noticed this?
Since I work out and my body became more muscular it seems that women touch me more often in a casual way. What I mean by that is that the average woman, when telling something to me or pointing something out, now tends to gently touch my arm or shoulder relatively often (as if to underline what she says).
Does this purely show an increased degree of physical attraction? Because it's not only women who are potential partners but relatives, friends, strangers, old, young.
I'm just curious if this is simply "yeah, you got more muscles, women want to touch you more often. ez." or if there's more behind it.

Might be because you became more confident as well, nobody is going to want to touch an awkward nerd I guess. 
That's speculation, maybe they just like muscles.

I noticed the same. I used to be a skinny CC runner, no one touched me. Then when i got to college i got serious about hitting the gym, and two years later- girls like to touch me, and don't mind me touching them. attraction is fun, and so is noticing how shallow everyone is lol

Yeah, same here, my male friends was WTF man your body right now is awesome. so when they're asking for something they have a tendency of patting my ass like who Basketball jocks do and telling me that wow you have rock-solid buttocks my friend.
I can't tell you about females since I'm pretty skinny now unlike when I was 18 I worked out for 6 months.

If you change one part of you, generally, the rest will follow.
If someone who has had his face ruined for whatever reason and as a result doesn't dare to leave his house, has his brain transplanted into the body of say, someone who looks like Brad Pitt (or whatever male star women faint over these days) he would eventually change and become a more confident person because people are reacting positively towards him.

Girls really do notice when you start getting more and more buff, especially girls who you're close with. I don't know if they like it or not, but they definitely do notice, and often they'll notice it before you do for some reason.
I think having nice strong shoulders makes them want to cling on or something, and then if you have nice biceps to boot its a good bonus. Even me as a guy, when I first saw my friend reveal his muscles to me I shat bricks. Like he was a pretty nerdy white, smart, dorky guy. I knew he ran track and CC but I never thought anything of it. Then when he tried to get me into it, he showed me his muscles (this bitch was ripppped, not the little highschool boy ripped, but legitimate gangster riipppped), my jaw dropped and the only words I could utter were "I want my body to do that."
Too bad after a summer of SC2 and lazing around I seem to be putting on more pounds rather than losing them....

Definitely. I got a somewhat related story.
Was at a party in the fall playing some beer pong. Was wearing a kinda baggy long sleeve shirt because it was cold so I didn't look very ripped (not bragging). A random girl grabbed my arm around the bicep area trying to get my attention to tell me something. As she grabbed it her eyes got bigger and was like whoa didn't expect that and started feeling me up. Fast forwarding, woke up in the morning and was a happy man.
In retrospect to this thread now, I completely agree with you...girls can be superficial but I would definitely be more inclined to touch a in shape girl than a girl who could lose a roll or two.

my theory is that people are touchy but having a bad body prevents them from being touchy. once you have a good body it lets their natural touchiness come out
