Basically I was wondering what sort of drunk everybody here gets.
I was hanging out with a coworker, her roommate and her roomie's guy friend. We were all drinking, only my 2nd time ever (the first being a regrettable 21st birthday). I noticed that we had 3 different kinds of drunks there. The other guy was a loud, obnoxious drunk. He kept telling bad jokes and laughing way too loud. The two girls both spent most of their time dancing, my coworker accompanying it with singing, and neither could stop giggling. Myself? I am a quiet drunk. I don't like to be out of control very much, so everything I do I pay really close attention to. I rub my own arms a lot, enjoying the semi-numb sensation and generally try to not act like a complete idiot and lose my head.
I know loud drinkers, lazy drinkers, dancing drinkers, sleepy drinkers and giggly drinkers. So what about you TL? How do you act when drunk?

Definately sleepy. When im sitting comfortable I really struggle not to fall asleep even at a party :p

We're the best sort of drunk. Okay maybe not, because waking up in random places you've never been with killer hangovers is not so fun sometimes.

It always depends on what I'm drinking. My friends all agree on that point (though personality and day to day mood plays a role too). Wine drunk is my favorite. I'm always raging happy.

A 26er of Vodka rose my apm in SCBW by 20 (which is big when you're normally averaging around 100).....
I dunno, I don't seem to be much different when I'm drinking.....

im the sleepy kind... but i have a friend that runs away when he's drunk. it doesn't help that he is 220+ pounds and JACKED so my friends and I can't catch him. Doesn't matter whether we are chilling at our house or at a club; once he hits that magic bal he just runs away like his life depends on it. We usually find him eating at a mcdonalds about 2 miles out like an hour later cuz we hit up the only restaurants that are open and mcdonalds is about the only place thats open at 3am-ish around here

agressive. I dont take shit from people, and im always willing to kick people out of my house with whatever force is necessary. (Im a small dude though so its usually pretty funny to everyone else. and dangerous to myself.)

my social powers get boosted by a factor of 5. Once I get over my slight redness and start turning white, which takes about thirty minutes after my second beer, i start making moves on girls. Then I go home and drunk dial for about 5 minutes, then sleep

I don't know what it'd be called but I'm the "Lets try to do something we'd be able to do sober" drunk. I 1v1ed a friend while we were both drunk and saved the replay, it was amazing . I'm also the responsible drunk, I just try to keep people from doing anything they would really regret later.

Basically it enhances whatever mood I happen to be in. If I'm enjoying myself and in good company I'll be talkative and cheery, if I'm bored I just go sit somewhere and possibly fall asleep, if I'm annoyed about something I let it out, etc.

I've been called a "smart" drunk before, which is pretty good for me, I guess.
I'm also pretty loud, but only compared to how I usually am. So still quieter than pretty much anyone I know.

Same situation here.. though there is a sweet spot for me after a few beers when I become much more sociable and active but then after that I just get really tired and lose focus.

when i get drunk my legs usually dont work anymore, ive had this happen tot he point where i had to be dragged around(i drank like 10 shots and 2-3 beers though..)

Sleepy drunk, but it usually depends anyways on what we're drinking. Sometimes reckless drunk too.

i'm a happy, fun, excited drunk, probably way to loud and talkative. also really competitive. then if i continue drinking, i start to become a depressed, sad drunk, so i'm always trying to keep a good balance.

It all depends on what I'm drinking really. Wine = quiet but enjoying the sensations similar to what you described, but below my knees it gets jello-y and almost ticklish. Beer = just obnoxious. Whiskey = starts out pretty happy go lucky but eventually I turn mean. Everclear = i'm likely to start punching the shit out of your face.

Maybe you havent been drinking enough yet, but I find that what kind of drunk you are, heavily depends on your mood. Sometimes I`m a great guy to hang out with, sometimes I`m an asshole, but it mostly depends on the mood I`m in and the people I hang with

90%+ of ppl i know fall into #1
#2 ppl are party fouls
#3 is like really odd and unique to i

If tired or no action around -> sleepy.
Annoying people -> impulsive/angry.
If in known company of friends and interesting topics -> happy/philosophical.
New impulses(new surrounding, new people) -> adventurous, powerish.

I think I would best describe myself as a sober drunk. No matter how drunk I get I always seem to remain in full control of myself, to the point of having my friends have to look for more subtle signs of me being drunk. (Usually the bloodshot eyes) Hell, I've even had a friend of mine walk up to me in the middle of a conversation, check my eyes and say "I know you're drunk, I can see it in your eyes, and even drunk you're smarter than me!" Worst that happens is my goofier side tends to come out a bit stronger, but that will also happen if I'm around good friends too.

My drunken personality has changed over the years. I used to be a loud and and angry drunk back in freshmen and sophomore year of high school where i would often pick a lot of fights. In junior and senior year i was more of the jolly horny dancing drunk, and i would hit on a lot of girls. Nowadays in college i am more of the quiet drunk, and i feel like i still maintain very strong control over myself even when im completely wasted.

For me it depends on the liquor! If I get drunk out of beer/wine only, then I'll most likely struggle to stay awake  If I mix things up a bit with drinks n shit, i'll be a lot more talkative n probably hit on every girl around me.. lol. Havent been drunk for some weeks now, I tend to get major regrets when I wake up sobering..
So I guess I'm more a 'all-around-type-of-drunk'.

Personally, i'm a very careful drunk. I think everything through and am generally very well behaved. It's very important to be able to control yourself.

Well up until the point that I'm conscious enough to remember what's going on, I'm a loud-happy-random drunk. Saying random stuff, blurting out funny sounds, being overly cute (heheh), yeah... but then when I drink more beyond that stage, I basically fall asleep.

I'm usually happy and philosophical, like to discuss very abstract topics such as the meaning of life etc. Or I get very gloomy and try to avoid people if I was in a less than optimal mood prior to drinking.

I am unfortunately one of those asians who gets asian glow and lacks the alcohol enzyme. When buzzed/tipsy I'm fine. But I'm not sure if I've ever truly been drunk because when I drink too much I get very flushed, increased heart rate, pounding headache, which is usually uncomfortable enough to make me stop. And if I keep drinking I'll get nauseated and really sleepy = puke and pass out. Sad state of affairs. All this has made me a very controlled/discipline drinker- I stick to drinking the (small pathetic) amount of booze I know I can handle, and I'll stop before I get sloppy and ruin the party.

Heh, laughing drunk? I don't know, but I start laughing non-stop to pretty much anything, which is fun because it's really contagious. Also, significantly less shy and whatnot. Oh, and I also always get pretty sleepy and get a really bad headache .
Thank god I'm not an aggressive drunk. I got a friend who's like that, and he's a pain in the ass to be around when he gets really drunk.
