The game itself is good, but its like getting a tiny diamond wrapped in 100 lbs of month old garbage, sure its just barely worth it to sift through and get the loot, but it is such an annoying process.
Mostly the complaint I have is the S hotkey for surrender on the lag/comp slowdown screen which leads to instantaneous, accidental surrenders. I have made a few posts about it on the sc2 forum, but then I came across a blue post saying Activision was mostly focusing on the blogs right now and leaving the forum to generally be a place of discussion among users. So, obviously I decided that I was gonna reply to each blog post they had complaining about the surrender wickedness(I mean, I have to bitch and moan somehow right :D), yet I come to find out that it wont let me post because it says I don't have an SC2 license tied to my account, even though its still there when I check. Thanks, Activision, you suck mega balls.

your biggest complaint is that the "s" key is used for surrender?
I think activision did a pretty good job then

Hitting n instead of s is 100 lbs of garbage?
My solution: don't lose (might not work for others)

OP, have you realized that there is a Score Screen option too?

this isn't really a big problem IMO...
things like no lan, no chatrooms, no custom game title names, auto start in custome games, fucked up system in custom games where I would join a game and I would be the only person in the game (wtf?), the inability to choose what matchup u want to play in ladder, and so much more is the real problem with sc2.

Do you realize you need to press S everytime you make units as zerg? 'S'elect Larva sometimes becomes 'S'urrender Larva.

That's basically what I meant when I said it was a simple problem. I can still play most of my games, but this is definitely getting more annoying the more it happens. I would also consider the lack of chat rooms and other things like not having an easy way to see a straight up ranking to be smallish problems. I'm just saying that while I enjoy the game, these little things(that are generally not game-breaking, but fairly frequent and seemingly simple) add up and they are slowly eating away at my enjoyment of the game in terms of general user interface and satisfaction, even though the game itself, once you get into a match, I fully enjoy.
I would compare it somewhat to some of the old Black Isle games or even Obsidian titles(stuff like fallout 2 and Knights Of The Old Republic 2). These are 2 of my favorite games of all time but the errors and problems in the programming caused me to play through them less than I would have based purely on the satisfaction of the game simply because the problems would be in the back of my head when I decided to play or not.

This is clearly because Terran is OP and we need to automatically drop laggy ones when they're trying to make SCVs

Terran building Hotkeying is so fucked up. They should change it back, how it was in the beta. With tabbing through the different addon styles. The way it is now is only good for spamming low tier units as long as u don´t have tech labs its fine. I gave up binding my shit cause u can´t use the hotkeys effienct anyways that combined with the missing f-keys is just terrible and makes me wanna play Toss because u can bind production buildings easily.

Ah now I understand. I accidentally alt-tabbed early in a game I played yesterday. Tabbing back I just spammed S to get SCV production going again asap. I had just time to see a box Surrender? before it threw me out. I want my Alt Q Q back, why use a key that is used for SCVs (and consequently used A LOT )
